UP 8DSP – BMW 1.7HiFi Upgrade Kit
INSTALLATIONSHINWEIS
Bei der Installation des UP 8DSP Verstärkers in Kombination mit dem PP-BMW 1.7 HIFI - UP 8DSP Edition Kabelbaums
ist es zwingend erforderlich Hardwarekongurationen am Verstärker vorzunehmen. Dies ist notwendig um Schäden am
Verstärker oder dem Fahrzeug zu vermeiden.
Führen Sie dazu die folgenden Schritte durch:
1. „Auto Remote“-Schalter auf „O“ stellen.
2. Sicherungen im Inneren des Verstärkers umstecken.
Entfernen Sie das Seitenblech mit dem „System Connector“-Eingang indem Sie die zwei Kreuzschlitzschrauben
lösen und ziehen anschließende das Bodenblech zur Seite heraus.
Entfernen Sie die zwei markierten Sicherungen indem Sie diese einfach nach oben herausziehen.
Stecken Sie anschließend eine der zuvor entfernten 25 A Sicherungen auf den Steckplatz „Fuse - Power via Sys-
tem-Connector“.
3. Verstärker wieder zusammenbauen.
4. Montageblech am Verstärker befestigen.
Befestigen Sie das mitgelieferte Montageblech mit den im Lieferumfang bendlichen Senkkofpschrauben auf der
Unterseite des Verstärkers.
5. Basis-Sound Setup auf dem DSP installieren.
Dieses nden Sie in der Sound Setup Datenbank auf www.audiotec-scher.de unter Tools → Sound Setups →

When installing the UP 8DSP amplier in combination with the PP-BMW 1.7 HIFI - UP 8DSP Edition wiring harness, it
is absolutely necessary to make hardware congurations on the amplier. This is essential to prevent damage to the
amplier or the vehicle.
Please follow these steps:
1. Set the “Auto Remote” switch to “O”.
2. Reposition the fuses inside the amplier.
Remove the side panel with the “System Connector” input by loosening the two Phillips screws and then pull the
bottom plate to the side.
Remove the two marked fuses by simply pulling them upward.
Then, insert one of the previously removed 25 A fuses into the “Fuse - Power via System-Connector” slot.
3. Reassemble the amplier.
4. Attach the mounting plate to the amplier.
Fix the mounting panel with the counter-sunk screws (both included in delivery) to the bottom plate of the amplier.
5. Install a basic sound setup onto the DSP.
