“SPOT COOLING” where central cooling is imprac cal.
AmeriCool air condi oners can also be used in enclosed areas
just like conven onal air condi oners. Simple digital controller
and self-diagnos c func ons allow users to easily operate
the unit. Built-in Caster wheels enable users to move the
unit without any hassle. The unit can be installed in 5 minutes
and does not require any extra materials or cer ed technician
for installa on.

General Safety Informaon
Please read this manual carefully for correct installaon and usage. Please read all safeguards.
1. Transport and store the unit in an upright posion only. Leave unit in an upright posion for
at least 3 hours before rst use.
2. Always place the unit on an even, level surface.
3. Ensure the unit is connected to a grounded power supply of the correct rang / capacity.
4. The unit will operate between 18°C (64°F) ~ 45°C(113°F) depending on the temperature
seng.
5. DO NOT use this unit for other purposes that is not described in this instrucon manual.
6. DO NOT lt the unit.
7. NEVER unplug the unit under operaon.
10. DO NOT place any foreign objects on the unit.
11. DO NOT operate the unit with wet or damp hands.
12. DO NOT allow chemical substances to come into contact with the unit.
13. DO NOT operate the unit near ammable substances or vapors such as alcohols,
pescides, gasoline, etc.
DO NOT use the unit in wet environments, such as a laundry room, to avoid
the risk of electrical shock.

14. DO NOT unplug to turn o the unit. Always use the power switch to start and to stop the unit.
15. Always turn o the unit and unplug it before cleaning, moving or performing maintenance.
16. AVOID using adapter plugs or extension cords. If extension cord or an adapter plug is
needed , ensure they are correctly rated for the applicaon. Consult a local qualied
electrician for proper setup. Any extension cord used with this device must be rated for
a minimum of 24A.(380V)
17. DO NOT unplug the unit by pulling on the electrical cord. Keep electrical cord away from
heat sources and always completely unroll the cord to avoid overheang. If the power cord
is damaged, contact a qualied service agent, qualied electrician, or similarly qualied
person for replacement.
DO NOT operate the unit in explosive or ammable environments.
DO NOT operate a unit with a damaged power cord.
18. The lters must be used with the product at all mes. When the lters are removed for
cleaning, always ensure that the unit has been turned o and unplugged from the
electrical outlet.
19. Regularly clean the lters to maintain eciency. If the lters are not cleaned regularly,
the units output performance and eciency will decrease.
20. DO NOT operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug,
21. Only use in the upright posion on an even, at surface. There must not be any objects
or walls within 24 inches (60 cm) from the unit.
22. Halt the unit immediately if abnormal noise or odor is detected. Contact your local
service center or manufacturer.
23. Appliance is not to be operated by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instrucon.
24. Children must be supervised not to play with appliance.
25. The unit must be installed in accordance with naonal wiring regulaons.
26. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard. .

Casters can be locked by
locking the break down
The Cool Air Ducts (OUT) are labeled "AIR OUT". The diameter of the duct is 400Ø.
Connect the exible air duct as following
1. Aach a exible duct to the duct collar. Use a clamp or any appropriate
apparatus around the collar to prevent any air leakage.
2. Route the exible duct as straight as possible to the desired space
without any excessive turns and pinches.
3. Please avoid any objects or walls at the end of the duct.
The Return Air In duct connecon is labeled "AIR IN".
The diameter of the duct is 400Ø. Follow the same procedures
as "Cool Air Duct (Out) connecon". If you want to use the unit
without any "AIR IN" duct, the unit will read the temperature of
the surroundings.
The Hot Air Out duct connecon is labeled "AIR OUT"
The diameter of the duct is 450 Ø and maximum duct length
is 30M. Follow the same procedures as the cool air duct
connecons.
If a forkli is needed to move the unit, put the foot of the forkli
to the forkli hole (shown in the picture: gure 8).

Installaon
MOVING THE UNIT
PLUGGING IN THE UNIT
Unlock the casters and push the unit using the side handles to a at, level surface and set the
caster brakes to the locked posion.
Check the prongs and surface of the power cord plug for dust/dirt. If dust and / or dirt are
present, wipe o with a clean, dry cloth.
Check the power cord, plug and prongs for any damages
If you suspect any damage or deterioraon, contact a qualied technician to perform replace
-
ment or repair
NOTE: Make sure the AC outlet is free of dirt, dust, oil, water, or any other foreign material. The
unit is equipped with an approved NEMA plug conguraon. The appropriate outlet must
be used for each plug type.
WARNINGS REGARDING PROPER LOCATION FOR INSTALLATION
Do not use the unit in explosive environments or in areas where ammable
gas leakage may occur.
Do not use the unit in areas where it will be exposed to rain or water.
Do not use the unit in a corrosive atmosphere.
Do not use the unit above 18°C(64°F) ~ 45°C(113°F).
Do not install the unit on uneven or sloping surface. The unit may roll or
topple over even if the casters are set to the locked posion.
If the power cord or plug is damaged, repair should only be performed by
qualied electrical personnel.
Do not connect / disconnect the power cord or aempt to operate buons
with wet hands. This could result in electrical shock.

1. POWER BUTTON :
Turns on/o the unit when the buon is pressed for 1 second.
2. BLOWER BUTTON :
Adjusts the fan speed from (Low) to (High) when the buon is pressed for 1 second.
NOTE: Some models only have one fan speed
3. SPOT/COOL BUTTON :
Acvates Spot Cooling mode when the buon is pressed for 1 second. Compressor can
be switched on/o
4. ROOM/COOL BUTTON :
Acvates Room Cooling mode when the buon is pressed for 1 second. Compressor can
be switched on/o
5. UP/DOWN BUTTON :
Sets target temperature in ROOM or SPOT COOL MODE.
6. ALARM :
The alarm indicator will ash when the unit detects abnormal operaon. The compressor
will stop aer the alarm and the system will stop aer 3 minutes of alarm unless there is
any acon taken to x the issue.

9. EMERGENCY STOP :
Emergency stop buon immediately halts the operaon
1. Press the red buon – Unit stops
2. Inspect the unit.
3. Rotate the red buon clockwise to restart the unit
7. CURRENT TEMP :
Displays Current temperature
NOTE: Canadian version shows the temperature in Celsius.
8. TARGET TEMP :
Displays target temperature
OFF-TIMER : Press BLOWER Buon and SPOT/COOL Buon simultaneously for 2 seconds to
set o-mer. Press UP/DOWN Buon to set the mer. Aer you set o-mer, idle for 5 seconds to
save the o-mer seng. To cancel OFF-TIMER, set the mer to 0.
AUTO RESTART : If the unit turns o due to an electrical interrupon, the unit will automacally
restart when the power comes back on.

Maintenance
FILTER CLEANING (See Figures 11 and 12)
1. Unscrew 6 bolts on the front lter guard.
2. Slide lter up and use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from the lter.
3. If the lter is heavily covered with dust and dirt, use warm water and mild soap or neutral
detergent to wash the lter.
Do not use any other chemicals to clean lter.
4. Dry the lter in a shaded area before replacing it. Do not operate the unit without the lter.
5. Place the clean lter and close the lter guard.
For your convenience, record the complete model number and product name (located on the
Product Idencaon Plate), the purchase date, purchase locaon, serial number, and war
-
ranty period in the table below.
Also, aach your purchase receipt as proof of purchase to this instrucon manual for future
reference.
To ensure your product is covered by warranty, the complete faulty product along with your
original purchase receipt must be provided at the place of purchase.
Do not operate without the lter.
Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. Do not operate the
unit if there is any sign of malfuncon. Do not operate the unit that has
been dropped or damaged

SELF-DIAGNOSTIC CODES (See Table 1)
The alarm will acvate when the unit detects any abnormality. It will show certain alarm code
to indicate the source of problem. The compressor and condenser fan will stop working when
alarm goes on. The evaporator fan will sll be working for 3 minutes. If no acons are taken for
3 minutes aer inial alarm, the evaporator fan will stop too. Please refer to the alarm codes in
next page and follow the soluons provided to x the unit.

LIMITED WARRANTY
AmeriCool warrants all AmeriCool products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship,
under normal use and service, for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase to the end user
(original invoice must be provided). AmeriCool warrants that the compressor will be free from
defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase to the end user.
AmeriCool’s obligaon under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement at its opon,
of any part or parts, which, upon Ameriool’s examinaon are shown to be defecve, or at Ameri
-
Cool’s opon, the return of the purchase price to the purchaser.
Correcon of such
defects by repair or replacement, or at AmeriCool’s opon, the return of the
purchase price shall constute fulllment of warranty obligaons to the purchaser. This warranty
does not cover defects or malfuncons which result from causes beyond AmeriCool’s control,
including, without limitaon,(i) unusal physical or electrical stress:(ii) accident, neglect, abuse,
misuse or other abnormal use; (iii) failure to perform roune maintenance in accordance with
AmeriCool’s recommended procedures; (iv)normal wear and tear; (v) repairs or aempted repairs
by an unauthorized person; (vi) modicaons or alteraons to the Products; (vii) use with parts or
devices not supplied or approved by AmeriCool (viii) improper installaon or service; (ix) shipping
damage to any units or spare parts during shipping. This includes and is not limited to compres
