1. COMPONENTS
1. Make sure that all the parts are present and that there are no missing parts. Please empty the packing box
thoroughly and make sure that all the parts are present and that there are no missing parts.
2. Do not PLUG THE UNIT IN UNTIL THE UNIT IS COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED AND MAKE SURE THERE IS
NO DAMAGE to the unit and power cord.

2. ASSEMBLY
MAKE SURE THE HEATER IS NOT FUNCTIONING BEFORE YOU HANG IT ON A GAZEBO, UNDERNEATH A
BALCONY OR A ROOF.
1. Make sure the support chain is well attached to the heater.
2. Attach the other end of the support chain around or onto a secure post, beam or any solid attachment object.
You can also attach the support chain onto itself going around an obstacle to install the heater.
3. Connect the heater to an AC 120V/60 Hz wall outlet.
4. Press on the main On/Off switch to activate the heater.
NOTE: Wait until the heater heating element has cooled down before moving it.
REMEMBER, portable electric heaters are designed for spot heating or as a supplementary heat source. They are not
intended to be the main source of heat during cold months.
Caution: If you must use an extension cord, the cord size should be at least NO .14 AWG and rated
for no less than 1875 Watts.
You must always make sure there is at least 1.5 ft/50 cm of empty space from the heater to the
ceiling, 25 cm (9 inches) from the side to a wall and 180 cm (5 feet) below the heater to the floor.
3. OPERATION
1) Press on the main On/Off switch to activate the heater.
2) Press on the heating mode activation button under the heater to select the desired heat.

3) Press the button once to operate the heater on 600 W power. Twice to operate the heater on 900 W power.
Three times to operate the heater on 1500 W power.
4) Press the button four times to activate the LED ambient lighting and to operate the heater on 1500 W power.
5) Press the button five times to activate the LED light ambient lighting without heat.
6) Press the button six times to shut off the light and heat.
Remote Control Operations:
1) To operate the LED light, press the LIGHT button of the remote control.
2) Press on the LOW button for 600 W.
3) Press on the HIGH button for 900 W.
4) Press the OFF button to deactivate the heater.
WARNING: The main power switch must be turned on to use the remote control.
4. FOR YOUR SAFETY
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. ONLY USE THE UNIT ON A SECURED AND SOLID ATTACHMENT POINT.
2. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas or similar indoor locations. Never place the heater
where it may fall into a pool, bathtub or other water receptacle.
3. This unit is intended for household use only. DO NOT use the unit in such areas as construction sites, greenhouses,
barns or stables or any place that has flammable materials.
4. Use the unit in a well-ventilated area.
5. A heater has hot, arcing and sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are
used or stored.
6. Do not move the unit when it is still connected to an electrical outlet and always wait for the unit to cool down before
moving, cleaning, and storing.
7. Do not touch the heater when in use. Please wait at least 10 minutes before touching it.
8. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used near a child or someone with a physical disability.
9. DO NOT LEAVE THE UNIT UNATTENDED WHEN IN OPERATION.
10. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles (not provided)
when moving this heater, Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at
least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater.
11. DO NOT cover the unit with any type of tissue while in operation or a short time after turning the unit off.
12. DO NOT wrap the power cord around the unit when connected to an AC wall outlet.
13. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings of the unit as this may cause electric
shock, fire, or damage to the heater.

14. PLEASE HANDLE THE UNIT WITH CARE.
15. DO NOT operate the heater with a damaged power cord or an AC wall outlet. DO NOT operate the heater if it has
been dropped or damaged in any manner.
16. DO NOT USE THE UNIT AS A ROOM HEATER.
17. Do not run the power cord under carpeting; do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange the cord
away from traffic area where it may be tripped over.
18. To disconnect the heater, press the main power switch to the off position, then unplug the unit.
19. To prevent possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like
a bed, where openings may become blocked.
20. Use this heater only as described in this manual; any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock or injury to people.

5. CLEANING AND STORAGE
1. Turn the unit OFF and unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Use only a soft cloth to clean the exterior. An air compressor or a vacuum cleaner can be used to clean the
interior.
3. Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the heater
4. Store the heater in its original box and store it in a cool, dry place.

7. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product is for use on a nominal 120 V circuit with a grounding plug that looks like the plug shown below. If you use an
extension cord, it must be at least NO .14 AWG and rated for no less than 1875 Watts. Also make sure it also has a
grounding plug.
DANGER
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrocution. Check with a
qualified electrician or service personnel if you doubt the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the power
cord provided with the product. If it does not fit the wall outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified
electrician. Do not use any type of adaptor with this product.
8. WARRANTY LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY
This product is guaranteed against all manufactured faults and defects for a period of one (1) year from the date
of purchase. For repairs or product defects, please call our customer service department at: 1-866-967-7333 ext

Important notes: Any damage caused by an accident, or abusive usage is NOT covered under warranty. We
also decline all responsibility concerning indirect or consecutive damages. In certain Canadian provinces, it is not
permitted to limit indirect or consecutive damages. Therefore, it is possible these limitations are not applicable to
you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights which vary from one
province to another.

1. COMPOSANTES

2. ASSEMBLAGE
Assurez-vous que la chaufferette n’est pas en fonction avant de l’accrocher au plafond d’un gazebo, d’un balcon
ou tout autre objet.
1. Assurez-vous que la chaîne de support est bien fixée au radiateur.
2. Fixez l'autre extrémité de la chaîne de support autour ou sur un poteau, une poutre ou tout objet solidement
fixé. Vous pouvez également attacher la chaîne de support sur elle-même en contournant un obstacle pour
installer le radiateur.
3. Connectez le radiateur à une prise murale AC 120 V/60 Hz.
4. Appuyez sur l'interrupteur principal marche/arrêt pour activer le chauffage.

REMARQUE : Attendez que l'élément chauffant ait refroidi avant de le déplacer.
IMPORTANT, les chaufferettes électriques portatives sont conçues pour le chauffage d’appoint ou comme source de
chaleur supplémentaire. Elles ne sont pas destinées à être utilisées comme source de chaleur durant les mois
froids.
Important : Évitez autant que possible d’utiliser une rallonge électrique avec cet appareil. Toutefois, si vous
devez en utiliser une, elle doit être au moins de taille NO.14 AWG et calibré à au moins 1875
Watts.
Assurez-vous d’avoir un minimum de 50cm (1.5 pied) d’espace libre entre le dessus de la
chaufferette et le plafond. 25 cm (9 pouces) d’espace libre entre le côté et un mur et 180cm
(5pieds) d’espace libre entre le dessous de la chaufferette et le plancher.
3. OPÉRATION
1) Appuyez sur l'interrupteur principal marche/arrêt pour activer le chauffage.
2) Appuyez sur le bouton d'activation du mode chauffage sous le radiateur pour sélectionner la chaleur souhaitée.
3) Appuyez une fois sur le bouton pour faire fonctionner le chauffage à une puissance de 600 W. Deux fois pour
faire fonctionner le radiateur à une puissance de 900 W. Trois fois pour faire fonctionner le radiateur à une
puissance de 1 500 W.
4) Appuyez quatre fois sur le bouton pour activer l'éclairage d'ambiance D.E.L. et faire fonctionner le radiateur sur
une puissance de 1 500 W.
5) Appuyez cinq fois sur le bouton pour activer l'éclairage d'ambiance D.E.L. sans chaleur.
6) Appuyez six fois sur le bouton pour éteindre la lumière et le chauffage.

Opérations de télécommande :
1) Pour faire fonctionner la lumière D.E.L., appuyez sur le bouton LIGHT de la télécommande.
2) Appuyez sur le bouton LOW pour 600W.
3) Appuyez sur le bouton HIGH pour 900W.
4) Appuyez sur le bouton OFF pour désactiver le chauffage.
AVERTISSEMENT : L'interrupteur d'alimentation principal doit être allumé pour utiliser la
télécommande.
4. POUR VOTRE SÉCURITÉ
INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANTES
1. N’utilisez cet appareil que s’il est accroché solidement et en toute sécurité.
2. Cette chaufferette n’est pas conçue pour être utilisée dans une salle de bain, aire de lavage ou tout autre
espace intérieur humide. Ne placez pas la chaufferette dans un endroit où elle pourrait tomber dans une piscine,
spa, baignoire ou autre récipient d'eau.
3. Cet appareil est destiné à un usage domestique seulement. NE PAS utiliser l'appareil dans des endroits tels
que des chantiers de construction, des serres, des granges ou étables ou tout autre endroit qui a des matériaux
inflammables.
4. Veuillez utiliser la chaufferette dans un endroit bien aéré.
5. Cette chaufferette a des pièces chaudes à l’intérieur qui produisent des arcs ou des étincelles. Ne pas l'utiliser
dans les endroits où de l'essence, de la peinture ou des liquides inflammables sont utilisés ou entreposés.
6. Ne pas déplacer l'appareil lorsqu’il est branché à une prise électrique et attendez toujours que l'appareil
refroidisse avant de le déplacer, le nettoyer et le remiser.
7. NE PAS toucher la chaufferette lorsqu’elle chauffe. Attendre au moins 10 minutes après l’avoir mis hors
tension.
8. Une extrême prudence est de mise lors de l’usage de tout appareil de chauffage près d'un enfant ou une
personne physiquement handicapée.
9. NE PAS LAISSER l’appareil sans surveillance lorsqu'il est en usage.
10. Cette chaufferette devient chaude en cours d'utilisation. Utilisez des poignées protectrices (non fournies) pour
changer cet appareil d'endroit. Garder les matériaux combustibles, tels que meubles, coussins, literie, papiers,
vêtements et rideaux à au moins 3 pieds (0,9 m) de la chaufferette.
11. Ne pas couvrir la chaufferette lorsqu’elle est en fonction ou même après l’avoir mis hors tension.
12. Ne pas enrouler le cordon d'alimentation autour de l'appareil.
13. Veuillez ne pas insérer ou permettre à des corps étrangers de pénétrer dans les trous de ventilation ou
ouvertures de l'appareil, car ceci peut causer une décharge électrique, un incendie ou endommager l'appareil.
14. VEUILLEZ MANIPULER CETTE CHAUFFERETTE AVEC SOIN.
15. Ne pas utiliser la chaufferette si le cordon ou la prise est endommagé, si l’appareil fait défaut, s’il a été
échappé ou endommagé.
16. NE PAS utiliser l'appareil comme appareil de chauffage pour une pièce.
17. Ne pas placer le cordon d'alimentation sous une moquette ou le couvrir avec un tapis. Placez le cordon loin
des zones de circulation où il pourrait faire trébucher quelqu'un.
18. Pour déconnecter la chaufferette, il faut la désactiver puis débrancher le cordon d’alimentation.
19. Pour éviter tout incendie, évitez de bloquer les prises d'air ou ouvertures de la chaufferette.

20. Utiliser cet appareil tel que décrit dans ce manuel. Toute autre utilisation non recommandée par le fabricant
peut provoquer un incendie, l’électrocution ou des blessures graves.

5. NETTOYAGE ET REMISAGE
1. Éteindre et débrancher l'appareil avant le nettoyage.
2. Utiliser uniquement un chiffon doux pour nettoyer l'extérieur. Un compresseur d'air ou un aspirateur peut être
utilisé pour nettoyer l'intérieur.
3. Ne pas utiliser d'essence, diluant à peinture ou autres produits chimiques pour nettoyer la chaufferette.
4. Remisez la chaufferette dans sa boîte d'origine et placez-la dans un endroit frais et sec.

7. INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE
Ce produit est destiné pour une utilisation sur un circuit nominal de 120 V et à une prise avec mise à la terre semblable à
celle illustrée ci-dessous. Assurez-vous que l'appareil est branché à une prise ayant la même configuration que la fiche.
Si vous utilisez une extension, elle doit être au moins de taille NO.14 AWG et calibré à au moins 1875 Watts. Veillez à ce
qu’elle ait aussi une prise avec mise à la terre.
