1. SAFETY
1.1. GENERAL SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure Health & Safety, local authority and general workshop practice requirements are adhered to when using this equipment.
9 Use the pipe cutter in a suitable work area. Keep the area clean and tidy and ensure there is adequate lighting.
 WARNING! Always wear approved eye or face protection when using the cutter.
9  Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
8  DO NOT use the cutter for any purpose other than for which it is designed.
8  DO NOT use the cutter if any part of it is damaged or missing.
8  DO NOT allow untrained persons to use the cutter.
8  DO NOT attempt to cut piping when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
9  When not in use, clean the cutter and store in a safe, dry, childproof area.
1.2. SAFETY REGARDING BRAKE FLUID
9  Always read and comply with the warnings on the brake uid manufacturer’s container.
9  Wear eye protection and keep skin contact to a minimum. If brake uid enters eyes rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
If swallowed seek medical advice immediately.
9  Dispose of waste brake uid in accordance with local authority regulations.
 WARNING! Brake uid will damage paintwork. Any spillage should be ushed with water immediately.
 WARNING! Brake uid is ammable - keep away from sources of ignition, including hot surfaces e.g. exhaust manifold.
2. INTRODUCTION
Patented design ensures that the spring mechanism maintains the correct cutting pressure on the pipe at all times. Features a smooth screw
action and nickel plated blade for increased cutting performance.

4. OPERATION
WARNING! Before using the pipe cutter ensure that you have read and understood the Safety Instructions in Section 1.
4.1. Place the pipe to be cut against the two rollers and turn the hand wheel to bring the blade up against the other side of the pipe so that
it is held in place under light pressure. Check that the cutter can rotate smoothly around the pipe.
4.2. If the pipe to be cut is of a soft formulation, increase the pressure until the mark on the side of the sprung roller mechanism lines up with
the ‘SOFT’ marking on the main body as shown in (fig.1).
4.3. If the pipe to be cut is of a hard formulation, increase the pressure until the mark on the side of the sprung roller mechanism lines up with
the ‘HARD’ marking on the main body as shown in (fig.2).
4.4. When the pressure is correctly set, begin to rotate the cutter slowly around the tube. Continue to carefully rotate the cutter until the pipe is cut.
4.5. If the cutter is cutting too slowly, increase the pressure by turning the handwheel by a quarter turn until the pipe is cut.

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
