Description of Parts
Before first use of your Pedestal Fan
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
Ensure all parts are present - see Description of Parts above.
Check that there is no damage to the mains cable or product.
Assembly of your Tower Fan
The Base (6) comes in two parts, which fit around the base of the Main Unit (4)
with the power cord exiting through the hole in the centre. Both parts fit easily
together. Before assembly, place a cloth or similar underneath the appliance
parts to prevent damage.
1. Turn the base retaining nut on the underside of the Main Unit (4)
anti-clockwise to unscrew as shown right.
2. Lower the front half of the Base (6) on top of the rear half (Fig. 1)
of the base so that the two latch together (Fig. 2). Ensure that
the power cord is fed through the hole in the centre.
Ensure that the nodules on the base of the Main Unit (4) are
aligned with the cut-outs in the base (Fig. 2).

3. Secure the two halves of the base by turning the base
retaining nut clockwise until firmly in place (Fig. 3).
4. Once the Base (6) is attached, thread the Power Cord (5)
through the inner cord guides (Fig. 4).
Setting Up Your Tower Fan
Place the assembled tower fan on a dry, level and stable surface.
Ensure the Timer Control (7) and Speed/Oscillation Control (8) set to the OFF
position and insert the plug into a socket and switch the socket on (if applicable).
Operating Instructions
Fan Operation
The fan has three speeds:
Speed 1 - Low Speed
Speed 2 - Medium Speed
Speed 3 - High Speed
Fan Only Mode
For Fan only mode, rotate the Speed/Oscillation Control
(8) to the appropriate number on the RIGHT HAND side
of the control. The fan will start blowing air in stationary
mode.
Fan Operation and Oscillation Mode
For Fan and Oscillation mode, rotate the
Speed/Oscillation Control (8) to the appropriate number
on the LEFT HAND side of the control. The fan will start
blowing air and oscillating side to side.
Rotate the Speed/Oscillation Control (8) to the OFF position
(either at the top or bottom) to switch off the fan.

Timer Operation:
Rotate the Timer Control (7) clockwise to the required time
period the fan will stay on for.
The timer can be set to a maximum of 2 hours, in 20 minute
steps. The fan will switch off when the set time period has
elapsed.
Care and Use of your Fan
Ensure that the fan is not connected to the mains supply
before cleaning.
Wipe the fan body with a clean, soft damp cloth.
Do not immerse the fan or its cord in water or any other
liquid.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains
lead and should the fuse needed replacing, you must use an ASTA approved
one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the
fuse cover missing. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician. If you need to
remove the plug-DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS- and then cut it off the
mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the
plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock
