runningaZ-Wavecontroller.PleasefamiliarizeyourselfwiththeZ-Wavecontroller’ssoftwarebeforegettingstarted.
Tominimizebatterypowerconsumption,RFonthedeviceisswitchedoffbydefault.Inordertostartthesetupprocess,pressthe
tamperswitchoncetoturnontheRFpowerfor30seconds.YouwillthenseetheLEDstarttoblinkonceasecond.Ifsetupisnot
completedwithin30seconds,pressthetamperswitchoncemoretocontinue.
•Basicsetlevel
WhenaBasicSetCommandissentandcontainsavalue,thereceiverwillprocessit.Forexample,alampmodulewould
receiveaBasicSetcommandthatdeterminesthedimlevel.

Foroptimalefciency,itisrecommendedtotestthedetector’sresponsetomovementsatthefarthestreachofthe
coverageareawhenyouuseitforthersttime.Ifmovementscannotbedetectedaccurately,simplyadjustthesensitivity
levelwiththeCongurationParameter#3.Thisparametercanbeconguredfrom1to10,where1islowsensitivity
and10isthehighestsensitivity.

sendaZ-WaveONcommand(i.e.BasicSetcommand(Value=BasicSetLevel))tothecontrollerandactivateconnected
