What to do if...
The appliance does not work:
• The switch is faulty: check the fuse box
and make sure that the switch is in order.
• Drop in power: check that the
appliance’s indicator lights are working.
The gas burner does not light up:
• Loss of power or moisture in the igniters:
light the gas burner with a lighter or a
match.
The oven does not heat up:
• Faulty fuse; check and, if necessary,
replace the switch.
• The function knob has not been set: set
the function knob.
• Check whether it has been set in “demo”
mode (for further details see “Preset
recipes (Programs)”).
All food prepared in the oven burns within
a short time:
• Faulty thermostat: contact an Authorised
Service Centre
The door glazing pane steams up when
the oven is hot:
• Absolutely normal behaviour caused by
the temperature difference: this has no
effect on the performance of the oven.
The display is completely off:
• Check the mains power supply.
• Check whether a multiple-pole switch
upstream of the appliance supply line is
in the “ON” position.
The controls do not respond:
• Check whether it has been set in
“controls lock” mode (for further details
see “Preset recipes (Programs)”).
The cooking times are longer than those
indicated in the table:
• Check whether it has been set in “eco-
logic” mode (for further details see
“Preset recipes (Programs)”).
The display shows “ERR4”:
• The door lock has not properly been
secured to the door. This might be
because the door was accidentally
opened during the door lock activation.
Switch the appliance off and on again,
waiting a few minutes before selecting a
new cleaning cycle.
If the door is opened during a fan assisted
function, the fan stops:
• This is not a fault. It is a normal operation
of the appliance, useful when cooking
food in order to avoid excessive heat
escaping. When the door is closed, the
oven will resume standard operation.
If the problem has not been solved
or in the case of other types of
fault, contact your local Service
Centre.
If other ERRx error messages are
indicated:
Note down the error message,
function and set temperature and
contact your local Service Centre.
