◆ How to install the filter
Take the filter out from the plastic bag, insert the filter into the
bottom of AR400, twist clockwise, and tighten the filter.
How to remove the filter◆
Twist counterclockwise, rotate and pull out the filter from the
bottom of AR400.
Power: Plug the power plug into a wall socket or power extension. The
Power indicator will flash red to indicate that it has entered into the standby
state. Touch the Power button to turn on AR400. The AR400 will start working
in Fan Speed 2 at default.
Fan Speed: Once the AR400 is turned on, touch the Fan Speed button to
switch among Fan Speed 1, 2, 3 and Sleep mode.
Timer: Once the AR400 is turned on, touch the Timer button to set the
AR400 to stop working in 1-8 hours. During setting, the number of hours will
be shown on the control panel by flashing 3 times. After flashing, the timer
is successfully set. To cancel the Timer, please press and hold the Timer
button for longer than 2 seconds while the number of hours is flashing.
Filter Replacement Reminder: Please replace the filter when the indicator
of Filter Replacement Reminder is flashing. After replacing the filter, press
and hold the Filter Replacement Reminder button to reset it. (The reminder
is set to be activated after 1500 hours of usage)
Sleep Mode: Under the Sleep Mode, other indicators on the control panel
will be off, while indicator of Sleep Mode will be dimmed. To exit the Sleep
Mode, please touch the Fan Speed button.
3-in-1 Filter (Pre-filter+HEPA filter+Activated Carbon Filter) needs to be replaced
every 6-8 months under normal use.
After every 1500 hours of working, the indicator of Filter Replacement
Reminder will flash slowly to remind user to replace the filter. After
replacing the filter, press and hold the Filter Replacement Reminder
button for 3 seconds to reset it.
• Place the AR400 in a ventilated place for maximized performance. Do not expose it under
strong sunlight.
• The pre-filter should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks to increase the efficiency and extend
the life of your filter. Clean the pre-filter by using a soft brush or vacuum hose to remove
hair, dust, and large particles.
• Do not wash the filter with water or other liquids.

Precautions
1. Do not place it in the following places:
• Under direct sunlight or placing the air outlet towards the heat
source (which may cause deformation, deterioration, discoloration,
and failure).
• Near interfering equipments such as TVs and radios (which may
cause image distortion and noise). Please place it at a distance of
1m or more. Meanwhile, if the same power outlet is used for these
devices, snowy picture and noise may occur. When this happens,
plug the power cord into a different power outlet.
2. For indoor dust such as pollen, the product should be placed on
the ground. Since pollen, dust, etc. are likely to fall near the floor,
it is recommended to place the product on a flat floor in the room.
3. In order to effectively circulate the air in the room, please do not
block the air inlet or outlet. Please keep left side and right side of the
product about 30cm or more away from the wall, furniture, curtains,
etc. Please keep the back side of the product at least 20cm away
from the wall.
4. Do not place any objects on top of the air purifier (which may cause
the machine to malfunction). Note: Do not place magnets or metal
objects on the air purifier.
5. Do not block the air inlet or outlet with any objects on the air outlet.

It is not recommended to use the air purifier when burning incense or
mosquito coils, otherwise the filter of the air purifier will leave an odor.
1. Turn off the air purifier immediately when any of the following conditions occur
(to avoid electric shock, sparks or smoke)
• There is an abnormal sound or vibration during operation.
• The product is abnormally hot and has a burnt odor.
2. Please clean the power plug regularly
• If the power plug is dusty, moisture may damage the insulated part of the plug,
resulting in a fire.
• If the air purifier is not to be used for an extended period of time, disconnect the
power cord.
3. Be sure to disconnect the power before performing maintenance on the air purifier.
• The air purifier may be activated by mistake, causing electric shock and injury.
4. Insert the plug into the power outlet correctly (if the plug is not inserted correctly,
it may overheat and cause an electric shock or even a fire).
• Do not use a damaged plug or a loosened power outlet.
5. Please pull the power plug by holding the insulated part of the plug.
• Pulling the power cord may cause damage to the power cord, resulting in electric shock,
short circuit, or fire.
6. When any of the following conditions occur, please turn off the power of the air purifier
immediately and seek assistance from the service department.
• The control panel does not work.
• The power cord or plug is abnormally hot.
• Abnormal sound or vibration is occured.
• Other abnormalities or malfunctions.

8. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
