OPERATION
WARNING:
Always remove the battery pack(s) from the product when you are
assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Removing the
battery pack(s) will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury.
ATTACHING/DETACHING THE
BATTERY PACKS (FIG. 10)
NOTE:
Charge the battery pack before
first use.
NOTE: For best performance, we
recommend use of the EGO Battery packs
totaling 7.5 Ah or higher capacity.
NOTE: The mower has two active battery
ports. It can operate off of one or two
battery packs. Using two battery packs gives you a longer run time and efficient power
draw managed by PEAK POWER™ technology.
1. Open the battery compartment cover by lifting the rear of the cover.
2. Align the grooves in the battery pack, with the raised ribs in the battery
compartment, and then insert the battery pack into the compartment.
3. Push the battery pack until you hear a “click”. The battery-release button will
spring up when the battery pack is securely attached.
4. Repeat the process to install the second battery pack.
NOTE: Make sure that the latch in the battery compartment mower snaps into place
and that the battery pack is secured to the mower before starting operation.
5. To detach the battery pack, depress the battery-release button to release the
battery pack, and then lift it out of the battery compartment.
6. Repeat the process to detach the second battery pack.
7. Close the battery compartment cover.
