UNFOLDING AND ADJUSTING THE HANDLE (FIG. 3)
WARNING:
Be sure not to pinch, kink or stress the cable when folding or
unfolding the handle. Damaging the cable could impact the activation and operation of
the lawn mower and result in an unsafe operating condition.
Do not attempt to start the mower and self-propel system until the handle has been
locked at one of the three preset operating positions (Upper Operating Position 3,
Middle Operating Position 2, and Lower Operating Position 1).
1. Switch off the mower.
2. Remove the battery pack(s).
3. Position the mower on a lever surface.
4. Hold the handle and loosen the wing bolts COUNTERCLOCKWISE on both sides,
ensure that the two engaging gears are fully loose but NOT separated (Step a).
5. Turn the handle upward until the arrow mark on the locking gear aligns with one of
the three operating positions on the handle mounting plate (Step b).
6. Hold the handle and tighten wing bolts CLOCKWISE on both sides, make sure the
two gears are fully engaged and the handle is securely fixed (Step c).
