Chapter 8 Event and Alarm
8.1 Excepon Alarm
Set excepon alarm when the network is disconnected, the IP address is conicted, etc.
Steps
Note
The supported excepon types vary with dierent models. The actual device prevails.
1.
Go to Conguraon → Event → Alarm Linkage → Excepon .
2.
Select the excepon type(s) and the linkage method.
3.
Click Save.
8.2 Set Email
When the email is enabled and set, the device will send an email nocaon to all designated
receivers if an alarm event is detected.
Before You Start
Set the DNS server before using the email funcon. Go to Conguraon → Network → Network
Parameters → Network Interface for DNS sengs.
Steps
1.
Go to Conguraon → Network → Data Connecon → Email .
2.
Check Enable Email.
