To Remove Battery Pack (Fig. 6b)
WARNING:
Always be aware of
location of your feet and children or pets
around you when separating the battery
pack from the machine. Serious injury
could result if the battery pack falls.
NEVER remove the battery pack at a high
location.
1. Hold the battery pack in your hand.
2. Press the battery-release button; the battery pack will disengage from the latch.
3. Grasp the battery pack and remove it from the auger.
WARNING:
Always remove the battery pack when the battery pack is not in
use.
STARTING/STOPPING THE AUGER

To turn the auger on, press and
hold the lock-off button and then
squeeze variable-speed trigger
switch. Release the lock-off button
and continue to squeeze the trigger
switch for continued operation.
NOTE: The variable-speed trigger
switch delivers higher speed with increased trigger pressure and lower speed
with decreased trigger pressure.

To turn the auger off, release the trigger switch and allow the auger bit to come
to a complete stop.
