SELECTING ROTATION DIRECTION
AND SPEED (Fig. 5)
The auger can be set at high-speed
forward rotation, low-speed forward
rotation, and reverse rotation by using the
rotation direction / speed selector.
Hold the right handle with your right hand.

Push the selector to the “2” position
to activate forward rotation at high
speed.
◾
Push the selector to the “1” position to activate forward rotation at low speed.
◾
Push the selector to the “R” position to activate reverse rotation.
NOTE: Switching direction of rotation between forward and reverse is only possible
when the auger is stopped.
NOTE: The forward speed adjustment could be achieved at any time, regardless if the
auger is rotating or stopped.
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY
PACK (Fig. 6)
NOTE:
Fully charge the battery pack
before first use.
To Install Battery Pack (Fig. 6a)
1. Align the ribs on the battery pack
with the mounting slots on the
power head.
2. Slide the battery pack onto the power head until it snaps into position.
WARNING:
Make sure that the latch on the power head snaps into place and
the battery pack is secured to the power head before beginning operation. Failure to
securely install the battery pack could cause the battery pack to fall out, resulting in
serious personal injury.
