7 TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Probable cause Solution
The jack does not turn on
Power switch is set to the incorrect posi-
tion.
If the power switch is in the position of
“O”, press the switch to “ | ”.
The battery pack has lost charge. Charge the battery pack.
Defective power switch.
Contact an authorized dealer for as-
sistance.
The piston does not raise
Power switch is set to the incorrect posi-
tion.
If the power switch is in the position of
“O”, press the switch to “ | ”.
The battery pack has lost charge. Charge the battery pack.
Hydraulic oil temperature is below the
recommended limit.
Bring the jack into a warm area, al-
lowing the hydraulic oil to warm up.
Release valve is in the open position. Close release valve.
Air has entered the hydraulic system.
Contact an authorized dealer for as-
sistance.
The piston does not lower
Power switch is set to the incorrect posi-
tion.
If the power switch is in the position of
“O”, press the switch to“ | ”.
The battery pack has lost charge. Charge the battery pack.
Air has entered the hydraulic system.
Contact an authorized dealer for as-
sistance.
The jack does not sit level Base plate screw has backed out.
Remove base plate screw and apply
blue thread locking compound. Install
base plate screw.

through normal use or that have been damaged during
shipment. Proof of purchase and product registration
is required. Replacement of products or parts subject
to normal wear and tear is the responsibility of the
customer.
