ATTACHING THE LCD SCREEN TO
THE STEERING HEAD (Fig. 3)
a. Ensure the battery packs are
removed prior to LCD screen
assembly.
b. Remove the LCD screen from the
package and unscrew the two M6
hexagon socket screws from the
steering head using the 5 mm hex
key (included in the toolkit).
c. Align the mounting holes of the LCD screen with the bolt holes on the steering
head. Use the two bolts and the hex key to secure the screen. Required torque is
6–7 ft-lb (8–10 N m). Torque wrench is required (not included).
ATTACHING THE HANDLEBAR
ASSEMBLY TO THE STEERING
HEAD
a. Ensure the battery packs are
removed prior to handlebar
assembly.
b. Align and insert the knurled
(textured) part of the handlebar into
the groove on the steering head as
shown in Fig. 4a.
c. Align the positioning holes on both
sides of the handlebar assembly
with the joint line between the
handlebar clamp and handlebar
assembly (Fig. 4b).
d. Install the handlebar clamp using
the four M8 hexagon socket screws
by hand. NOTE: The “EGO” logo on
the handlebar clamp cannot be upside down, otherwise it will not fit.
