1. SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure Health and Safety, local authority and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using tools.
WARNING!
Always use caution when working around fuel systems. The fuel in the fuel rail may be pressurised even if the engine is
not running.
IMPORTANT: These instructions are provided as a guide only. Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer’s service instructions, or a
proprietary manual, to establish the current procedure and data, also any warnings or cautions particular to the vehicle.
8 DO NOT use the set if any parts are missing or damaged.
8 DO NOT use this tool for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
9 Switch off vehicle’s ignition and disconnect the battery before commencing work under the bonnet.
9 You must follow the vehicle’s service manual cautions when working around the air bag system. If the cautions are not followed the air
bag may deploy unexpectedly even after the ignition is turned ‘OFF’, resulting in personal injury.
9 Never lay tools on the vehicle’s battery. This may short the terminals together, causing harm to yourself, the tools, or the battery.
9 Operate in a well ventilated area. DO NOT inhale fuel vapours.
9 Wear approved eye protection. A full range of personal safety equipment is available from your Sealey stockist.
9 Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. DO NOT wear jewellery and tie back long hair.
9 Keep children and other unauthorised persons away from the working area.
9 Keep yourself, tools, and test equipment away from hot engine parts.
9 Always keep a fire extinguisher that is suitable for fuel/electrical/chemical fires close by,
WARNING! NEVER smoke or have open ames near vehicle.
9 Always relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting fuel lines from injectors.
9 Use a cloth to cover fuel line fittings when connecting or disconnecting fuel lines. Avoid contact with fuel.
9 Clean up all fuel spills immediately and dispose of all used cloths properly.
9 Maintain the tool components in good and clean condition for best and safest performance.
9 When work on the vehicle is finished, ensure all connections on vehicle are restored, and that there are no tools left in the engine bay.
9 Replace tools in the carrying case and store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
9 Air under pressure can cause severe injury.
9 Always shut o air supply, drain hose of air pressure and disconnect tool from air supply when not in use, before changing accessories
or when making repairs.
9 Never direct air at yourself or anyone else.
9 Whipping hoses can cause severe injury. Always check for damaged or loose hoses and ttings.
9 Cold air shall be directed away from the hands.
8 DO NOT exceed the maximum air pressure stated on the tool.
8 DO NOT carry an air tool by the hose.
9 Exposure to vibration can cause disabling damage to the nerves and blood supply of the hands and arms.
9 Wear warm clothing when working in cold conditions and keep your hands warm and dry.
9 Operate and maintain the power tool as recommended in the instructions handbook, to prevent an unnecessary increase in
vibration levels.
8 DO NOT use worn or ill-tting sockets or extensions, as this is likely to cause a substantial increase in vibration.
9 Slips, trips and falls are major causes of workplace injury.
9 Be aware of slippery surfaces caused by the use of the tool and also of trip hazards caused by the air line or hydraulic hose.
9 Proceed with care in unfamiliar surroundings. Hidden hazards, such as electricity or other utility lines, can exist.
9 Use only sizes and types of accessories and consumables that are recommended by the manufacturer; DO NOT use other types or
sizes of accessories and consumables.
9 When using a power tool for, the operator can experience discomfort in the hands, arms, shoulders, neck, or other parts of the body.
9 While using the tool, the operator should adopt a comfortable posture while maintaining secure footing and avoiding awkward or o-
balanced postures.
9 The operator should change posture during extended tasks, which can help avoid discomfort and fatigue.
9 If the operator experiences symptoms such as persistent or recurring discomfort, pain, throbbing, aching, tingling, numbness, burning
sensations or stiness, these warning signs should not be ignored. The operator should tell the employer and consult a qualied health
professional.

9 Operators and maintenance personnel shall be physically able to handle the bulk, weight and power of the tool.
9 Hold the tool correctly; be ready to counteract normal or sudden movements and have both hands available.
9 Maintain a balanced body position and secure footing.
9 Release the start-and-stop device in the case of an interruption of the energy supply.
9 Use only lubricants recommended by the manufacturer.
8 DO NOT use in conned spaces and beware of crushing hands between tool and workpiece, especially when unscrewing.
9 For multiple hazards, read and understand the safety instructions before installing, operating, repairing, maintaining, changing
accessories on, or working with the tool. Failure to do so can result in serious bodily injury.
9 Only qualied and trained operators should install, adjust or use the tool.
8 DO NOT modify this assembly power tool for threaded fasteners. Modications can reduce the eectiveness of safety measures and
increase the risks to the operator.
8 DO NOT discard the safety instructions; give them to the operator.
8 DO NOT use the tool for threaded fasteners if it has been damaged.
9 Tools shall be inspected periodically to verify that the markings are legibly marked on the tool.
9 The user shall contact the manufacturer to obtain replacement marking labels when necessary.
2. INTRODUCTION
Fits most passenger and light commercial diesel injectors including Delphi, Denso, and Siemens.
Uses vibration and pneumatic force to easily remove seized injectors. The set includes a pneumatic diesel injector puller, adaptors, an air hose
and a control valve with a 1/4” BSP connector. Maximum air supply 116psi (8 bar). Storage case supplied.

4. OPERATION
4.1. Select and mount the appropriate connector to the injector
concerned (internally or externally threaded).
NOTE: Tighten the connector to between 20 and 30 Nm.
4.2. Screw the vibration unit carefully onto the connector.
4.3. With the pneumatic supply set to between 5 and 8 bar, connect
the air line to vibration unit ensuring that the control
valve is set to the closed position.
NOTE: The air line should provide only clean dry air or the
unit may become damaged.
4.4. Open the control valve slowly to commence vibration and
open it further or close it to adjust the rate of vibration.
4.5. When the injector is loose, shut o the air supply and carefully
lift out the assembled unit.
4.6. Disassemble the unit and clean o the component parts using a
clean and soft cloth.
4.7. Prior to replacing the unit in the case and after approximately
8 hours usage, place no more than 1ml of oil into the air inlet
in order to prevent the units’ internals becoming wet and rusted.

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
