normalcircumstances.
HintsforBetterCooling
1. Yourcoolerrequiresasupplyoffreshair.
Placethecoolernearanopenwindow
orleavethedoortotheroomopen.Then
openanotheroutsidewindowordooronthe
oppositesideoftheroomsothatyoucreate
“owthrough”ventilation.Thecoolerwillnot
workproperlyinaclosedroom.
2. Asanadditionplacethecoolernearthe
entrancetotheroom.Thecoolerwilldraw
coolairfromotherpartsofthehouseand
furtherbringdowntemperature.
3. Startyourcoolerwhentheroomisstillcool.
Youmayleaveitrunningallday.Youwillnd
thatthissystemworksbestandkeepsthe
roomcooler.
4.Placeicecrystalsboxinyourrefrigerator
andletitfreezefor1to2hours,thenplace
ittothewatertank.Itwillbegoodcooling
efciency.
5.Addcoldwaterandicetothewatertank.
Turnonthecoolswitchandthelterpadwill
becomedamp.Theairisdrawninthrough
backpanelandacrossthelterpadto
releasecoolcleanair.Itmaytakeafew
minutesforthepadtobecomesaturated.
6. Sincehumiditychangesfromhour-to-hour
andday-to-day,whenitistoohumid,you
mayuseyourcoolerasafan.Justturncooler
onbutdonotturnoncoolbutton.

Operation
OPERATION(Do Not connect the
power plug as yet)
1.Removeallpackagingandcheckthe
applianceforanydamagesduring
transportation.Placetheunitonalevel
surfaceinastableuprightposition.
2.Pourcleancoldwaterintothewatertank,
observingthewaterlevelindicatoranddo
notoverllpasttheMAXwaterindicator
mark.

CAUTION:
Whenmovingtheunit,dosowithextreme
caution,soasnottospillanywaterinthe
reservoir.Theunitshouldbemovedslowlyandin
asidewaysdirection.
CAUTION:
Ensureicecrystalsboxiskeptawayfrom
children,consumingwillbeharmful

3.Connecttheunittoapoweroutletofthe
samevoltageandfrequencyasindicated
ontheratingplate.Theunit’sON/OFFLED
lightforthepowerwillturnontoindicatethat
thereispowertotheunit.
4.TurntheunitONbypressingtheON/OFF
buttononce.Theunitwillstartwiththefanin
normalmodeandonhispeedsetting.Further
operationcanbeperformedviapressing
theSPEED,MODE,VANE,ANION,COOLand
TIMERbuttons.
5.Ifyouwishtoturntheunitoffatapre-
determinedtime,pleasepresstheTIMER
button.Theunitcanbesettoturnoffat
anytimebetween0.5hourand7.5hours
from“TurnOn”bypressingtheTIMER
button.Ifnotimeisselected,theunitwill
operatecontinuously.Thetimesetcanbe
incrementedin0.5hrstepsandtheselected
timeisindicatedbyacombinationof
indicatorlights.e.g.5.5hrsisindicatedbythe
4hrLED,the1hrLEDandthe0.5hrLEDbeing
illuminatedsimultaneously.
6.Toinitiatethecoolingfunction,pressthe
COOLbutton.Itwilltakeapproximately2
minutesfortheairtocool.
Note: If this button is not depressed
the unit will only circulate “room
temperature” air.
7.Movethehorizontallouversfortheairoutlet
toblowupordowntosuit.
8.Theverticallouverscanbesettoadirection
orallowedtorotatebypressingtheVANE
button.
9.Allthefunctionscanbeperformedwiththe
remotecontrolsuppliedwiththisunit.
a)Removebatterycoverandinstalltwo“AAA”
batteriesasindicated.(Pleaseobserve
correctbatterypolarity,batteriesnot
included).
b)Pointtheremotetowardstheunitandpress
theappropriatebutton.Theremotecontrol
willoperateupto4metersfromtheunit.
10.PresstheON/OFFbuttonagaintocancelall
functions.
11.Whennotinusedisconnecttheunitfromthe
poweroutlet.
Note: Initial setting is “normal” mode
and “Mi” speed.

A. ON/OFF:
Pressthebuttononcetostart
aircooler.PressagaintoPowerOFFtheair
cooler.Whencoolerispluggedintothe
mainsocket,theLEDlightwillbeilluminate
indicatingtheaircoolernowhaspowerand
isreadytobeswitchedONorOFF.
B. SPEED:Presstochangefanspeedfrom
“Mid-High-Low”,relativeSPEEDLEDlightsturn
on.SPEEDfunctionHigh-Mid-Lowandalsobe
usedin-conjunctionwiththeNORMAL,SLEEP
andNaturalfunction.
C. MODE:
Thereare3modefunctions,Normal,
NaturalandSleep.
• Normal mode: Constantairowandcan
beadjustedviatheSPEEDfunctionbutton.
Example,NormalLOWorNormalHighor
NormalMedium.
• Natural mode:Programmedtosimulate
Naturalairow(breeze)asthoughitwere
enteringviathewindow.Thismodeis
preferredforusewhenconstantairow
(Normalmode)isnotsuitable.Naturalmode
canbeoperatedinHIGHTorMEDIUMorLOW
speed.
• Sleepmode:Programmedtoprovide
comfortwhiletheuserisasleep.
Note: All above can be operated via the
remote control shown on page 3.
D. VANE:
Pressonce,theindicatingLEDwill
lightup,andthelouveroftheaircooler
beginstoswinghorizontallyandblowcoolair.
Pressthebuttonagain,thelightisnowOFF.
Thelouveroftheaircoolerstopsswinging,
andtheairwillbeblowinginonedirection.
E. ANION:
Togainfreshairinyourroom,just
pressANIONbuttonandthebuild-inionizer
willoperate.theindicatingLEDwilllightup,

PressoncetooperatetheCOOL
function.Thisfunctionbeginswiththeprocess
ofsoakingtheairlterinwatersothatnormal
airpassingthroughtheairlterwillbecooler
whenblownout.Pressthebuttonagainto
switchthisfunctionOFF,andtheunitwill
operatethefanmodeonly.
Note: The alarm will ring
when you press the Cool button if there
is not enough water in water tank.
Note: Under the cooling mode, the
appliance will delay 5 minutes to stop
working when you shut off the unit or
timer is complete, during the extended
period, the timer pilot lamp will ash.
G. TIMER
Setthelengthoftimebeforethecoolerswitches
itselfOFF.Pressonceforeach0.5hrincrement.
Maximumallowableis7.5hrs.Exampleofuse:
Ifthe0.5hrand1.0hrlightsareonatthesame
time,itmeanstheunitwillcontinuetorunfor
1.5hrsbeforeautomaticallyswitchingOFF.The
TIMMERfunctionisOFFwhennotimeLEDsare
illuminated.

HowtoClean
Toensureeffectivehumidifyingandltering,itis
recommendedthatthelterbecleanedonce
everytwoweeks.
Disconnecttheunitfromthemainssupplybefore
cleaning.
Tocleantheexteriorsurfacessimplywipeover
withasoftdampcloth.Shoulditbenecessary,
greasymarksmayberemovedfromthesurfaces
byusingmildsoapandaclothdampenedin
hotwater.Avoidallothertypesofdetergents,
cleaners,solventsthatmaycontainchemicals,
whichcoulddamagepartsoftheunit.
Thoroughlydryallpartsbeforestorageorfurther
use.

TroubleShooting
Alwayscheckfullproductoperationasdetailed
abovebeforecallingforassistance,unlessthere
isdamagetothepowercordorplug-inthis
situation,stopusingtheproductimmediately.
Onhumiddaystheunitmaynotappeartobe
coolingcorrectly.Thisisduetotheairalready
beingsaturatedwithwater.Addingmore
watertotheairwillnotresultinpullingtheair
temperaturedown.Intheseconditions,itis
advisabletooperatetheunitasafanonlyto
circulateroomair.
