6 Machine settings
Touch f to open the Cockpit. In the ‘Machine setting’ f section, you can make the following
settings:

‘Product name’ Display product images with/without product names on the start screen

Set the number of products on the start screen: 2 products / 5 products
‘Wi-Fi
connection’
Connect the J8 wirelessly with the JURA app (J.O.E.

) or disconnect again (see
chapter 3 ‘Preparing and using for the first time – Establishing a WiFi
connection’)
‘Switch off after’ Set the automatic switch-off time to save energy (switch-off after 15minutes,
30minutes or 1 – 9 hours after the last action on the machine)
‘Choose

Set language
‘Factory setting’ Reset your J8 to factory settings (the machine then switches off)

‘Water hardness’ Set the hardness of the water used (1°dH to 30°dH) to prevent limescale
building up in your machine
