To lubricate cutting equipment
WARNING: Poor lubrication of
cutting equipment may cause the
chain to snap, which could lead to
serious, even fatal injuries.

oil! Waste oil is dangerous for
persons, the product and for the
environment.
Chain oil
WARNING: Poor lubrication of
cutting equipment may cause the
chain to snap, which could lead to
serious, even fatal injuries.
• Chain oil must demonstrate good adhesion
to the chain and also maintain its flow
characteristics regardless of whether it is
warm summer or cold winter weather.
• We have developed an optimal chain oil
which, with its vegetable oil base, is also
biodegradable. We recommend the use of
our own oil for both maximum chain life
and to minimize environmental damage.
• If our own chain oil is not available,
standard chain oil is recommended.
• In areas where oil specifically for
lubrication of saw chains is unavailable,
ordinary EP 90 transmission oil may be
used.
• Never use waste oil! This is dangerous
for yourself, the machine and the
environment.
To do a check if lubrication does not work
1. Check that the oil channel in the bar is not
obstructed. Clean if necessary.
2. Check that the oil channel in the gear
housing is clean. Clean if necessary.
3. Check that the bar tip sprocket turns
freely. If the chain lubrication system is still
not working after carrying out the above
checks you should contact your service
workshop.
To adjust chain lubrication
WARNING: Stop the engine/
motor before you make
adjustments to the oil pump.
Turn the adjustment screw for the oil pump.
Use a screwdriver or combination wrench.
• Turn the adjuster screw clockwise to
increase the oil flow.
• Turn the adjuster screw anticlockwise to
decrease the oil flow.
To clean the product, the battery and
the battery charger
1. Clean the product with a dry cloth after
use.
2. Clean the battery and battery charger with
a dry cloth. Keep the battery guide tracks
clean.
3. Make sure that the terminals on the battery
and the battery charger are clean before
use.
4. Clean around the oil tank cap with a brush.
5. Clean the inner surface of the protective
cover with a brush.
