Auger Belt Replacement
Toremoveandreplaceyoursnowthrower'saugerbelt,
proceedasfollows:
1. Removethe plasticbeltcoveronthefrontofthe
enginebyremovingthetwoself-tappingscrews.
NOTE:Drainthegasolinefromthesnowthrower,or
placea pieceofplasticunderthegascap.
2. Carefullypivotthesnowthrowerup andforwardso
thatit restson theaugerhousing.Removetheframe
coverfromtheundersideofthesnowthrowerby
removingfourself-tappingscrewswhichsecureit.
3. Rolltheaugerbeltoff theenginepulley.
4. a. Loosenand removetheshoulderscrewwhich
actsasa beltkeeper.
b. Unhookthesupportbracketspringfromthe
frame.
5. Removethe beltfromaroundtheaugerpulley,and
slipthe beltbetweenthesupportbracketandthe
augerpulley.Reassembleaugerbeltbyfollowing
instructionsin reverseorder.
NOTE:DoNOTforgettoreinstalltheshoulderscrew
andreconnectthespringtotheframeafterinstallinga
replacementaugerbelt.
