Thespacebetweentheskidshoesandthegroundcan

• Forclosesnowremovalona smoothsurface,raise
skidshoeshigheron theaugerhousing.
° Usea middleor lowerpositionwhentheareatobe
clearedisuneven,suchasagraveldriveway.
Toadjusttheskidshoes:
1. Loosenthefourhexnuts(twooneachside)and
carriagebolts.Moveskidshoestodesiredposition.
2. Makecertaintheentirebottomsurfaceofskidshoeis
againstthegroundtoavoidunevenwearon theskid
shoes.
3. Retightennutsand boltssecurely.
Chute Bracket Adjustment
If thespiralat thebottomofthechutedirectionalcontrol
isnotfullyengagingwiththechuteassembly,thechute
bracketcanbeadjusted.Todo so:
1. loosenthetwo nutswhichsecurethechutebracket
andrepositionit slightly.See Figure6.
2. Retighteningthenuts.
Tire Pressure
Beforeoperating,checktirepressureandreducepres-
suretobetween15psiand 20psi.
If thetirepressureisnotequalin bothtires,theunitmay
pulltoonesideortheother.
