device: load-group: description
description
Use the description command to optionally enter a description for the load group entry. Use the no form of this command to
clear the description.
Syntax
description <description>
no description
• description – Specifies a description for the entry. If spaces are required, bookend the description with quotation marks (“).
Examples
The following command enters “NMS server power supplies” as the description for entry “Load Group 1” on device “PDU-
Rack1”:
console> device (PDU-Rack1) load group (Load Group 1)> description “NMS server power
supplies”
Update complete
show description
Use the show description command to display the description entered for the load group entry.
Syntax
show description
Examples
The following command displays the description entered for “Load Group 1” on device “PDU-Rack1”:
console> device (PDU-Rack1) load group (Load Group 1)> show description
NMS server power supplies
device: load-group: enable
enable
Use the enable command to activate the load group. Use the no form of this command to disable the entry. A disabled load
group cannot be selected when configuring actions.
Syntax
enable
no enable
Example
The following command enables load group entry “GROUP1”, associated with device “PDU123”:
console> device (PDU123)> load-group (GROUP1)> enable
