TIPS FOR USING THE SHREDFORCE
Carefully read through all safety warnings and cautions before using.
EXERCISE TIPS
Spend at least five minutes warming up, including stretching, before
exercise and at least five minutes cooling down after exercise to avoid
pulled muscles and other sports injuries.
Always maintain control and move slowly to avoid injury.
Always listen to your body and do not overwork your muscles to avoid
injury. Take sufficient breaks.
We recommend beginning with the lowest resistance, level 2 (22 lb).
Once you get used to the exercise, increase the resistance level and
number of repetitions by a little bit each week.
Use the ShredForce every other day to allow your muscles sufficient
time to recover from your workout.
Tighten your abdominal muscles during exercise to prevent injury and
provide a core workout.
Breathe naturally during exercise. Never hold your breath.
You may wish to use a pair of weightlifting gloves to prevent hand
chafing, blistering, and callouses.
Drink plenty of water before and after exercise to stay hydrated.
EXERCISE OPTIONS
There are many ways to use your ShredForce:
Use it at chest level with the counter pointing down to work your chest,
or pointing up to work your shoulders, behind your head to work your
back. Try different angles and grips to focus on specific muscle groups.
Stabilize one grip against a wall or mat with one hand and then push and
pull with the other hand to focus on smaller arm muscles individually.
Orient the ShredForce perpendicular to your body to work your biceps
and shoulders.

SAFETY TIPS
Never allow the handles to open in an uncontrolled manner. Always
hold both grips firmly with one hand as you remove the lock bar with
your other hand to avoid injury or property damage that may be caused
by allowing the handles to swing open in an uncontrolled manner.
Always unlock the ShredForce away from your body, other people, and
surrounding objects to avoid injury or property damage.
Before starting an exercise, always ensure the resistance is set to your
desired weight level.
Always return the resistance dial to the lowest setting after each
workout to avoid future injury.
Should the product get stuck, do not try to force it closed, as this may
damage it. Return the resistance to the lowest level and then press the
handles closed.
If you are prone to dizziness or leg weakness, use the product while
seated.
To avoid injury, do not wear accessories such as rings, bracelets, or
watches during use.
Keep long hair and loose clothing away from the product to avoid getting
it caught in the hinge.
Adjust resistance to the lowest level and lock the product before
storage or travel.
WARNING: BATTERY INGESTION HAZARD
Battery ingestion is extremely dangerous and can cause severe injury and
even death. Always keep batteries out of reach of children and pets. If a
battery is ingested, seek immediate medical attention.
CAUTION
Stop immediately at the first sign of pain or discomfort, or if you begin to
feel unwell.
