– Connecting a Microphone and Singing Along with Your Performance –
By connecting a microphone to the [MIC INPUT] jack, you can enjoy singing along with your keyboard
performance or with Song/Audio playback. The instrument outputs your vocals through the built-in
speakers.
1 Before turning on the power of the instrument, turn down the [MASTER
VOLUME] dial to the minimum position.
2 Connect the microphone to the [MIC INPUT] jack.
3 Turn on the power of the instrument, and then adjust the volume by using the
[MASTER VOLUME] dial.
4 Call up the operation display.
[MIC SETTING] → TAB [L] Mixer
5 Make sure that Mic (the [1UD] buttons) is turned on.
If necessary, also turn on the power of the connected microphone.
6 Adjust the input level by using the [2UD]/[3UD] (Gain) buttons while singing
into the microphone.
Adjust the level while checking the Input Level meter on the left. Make sure to adjust it so the
meter lights in yellow or green. When the input level is too high, it lights in red.
