This should be removed immediately

Cooktop Seal
To clean the cooktop seal around the
edges of the glass, la) a ",vet cloth on it
for a few minutes, then wipe clean with
ll()llabl'_lsi`` e clea 11el's.

Our testing shows that if
you are cooking high sugar
mixtures such as jelly or
fudge and have a spillever,
it can cause permanent
damage to the glass surface
unless the spillever is
immediately removed.
