3. AIR CONDITIONER INSTALLATION

Place the air conditioner on the sill with the lower
mounting rail against the rear edge. Center the unit and
close the window securely behind the top mounting rail.
The unit should be tilted slightly outwards. Use a level ;
one third of a bubble indicates the correct slant.
NOTICE : It is recommended to have a second per-
son help lift and place the air conditioner onto the
window sill.

Extend the two exible screen panels to the window
frame. Using the type B screws provided, x the side
panels and top mounting rail securely to the window
sash. Place the supplied locking brackets between
the bottom of the screen panels and the window sill,
and fasten with 2 type B screws.
NOTICE : To prevent the window
frame from splitting, pilot holes should
be made before inserting the screws.
Close the gap between the side panels and
the window frame on each side of the unit

To secure to window sash, fasten the locking
bracket to the window sash or frame (depending
on the window type) with a type B screw. This will
prevent glass breakage or damage to the windows.
