To Stop the Snow Blower
1. Fully release the bail switch
(Fig. 14).
2. The electric brake in the Automatic
Braking Mechanism will stop the
auger rotation within 3 seconds of
the bail switch release.
Variable-Auger-Speed System
(Fig. 15)
The speed of the auger determines the
throwing distance. The speed of the auger
is variable and can be adjusted using the
auger-speed dial.
1. To increase the speed, move the
auger-speed dial away from the
operator.
2. To decrease the speed, move the auger-speed dial towards the operator.
Heated grip (Fig. 15)
The grip area could be heated to provide warmth for your hands.
WARNING: Ensure that the rubber coating is intact at the heated grip areas
before turning the grip-heating on. Unprotected skin could suffer burn injury from
contact with exposed heating elements.
1. Press the grip-heating switch to heat the grip area. The switch light will illuminate
when the heating is turned on.
2. Press the grip-heating switch again to turn off the heating. The switch light will
turn off.
NOTE: When the heating is turned on, the temperature of the heated grip will be
maintained between 95°F (35°C) and 131°F (55°C).
NOTE: The heating will turn off automatically when the snow blower is inactive for 10
minutes to preserve the battery charge.
