OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS – MODEL 300

Your AprilAire Humidier is controlled by a Manual Digital Humidier

Control (see FIGURE D). The Manual Digital Humidier Control is

installed on an interior wall of the home. Just as with the Manual

Humidier Control, it is important to anticipate a drop in outdoor

temperature and reduce the RH set point accordingly to avoid

excessive condensation (see page 8).

The Manual Digital Humidier Control will continuously display

indoor RH%.

CHECK HUMIDIFIER OPERATION –

MANUAL DIGITAL HUMIDIFIER CONTROL

Press the ON button. ON will appear on the display, but it does not

necessarily mean the humidier is running. Several conditions must

be met:

1. The control and humidier must be powered.

2. The RH level in the conditioned space must be below the set point.

Raise the set point if necessary.

Once functionality has been established, set the control to the

desired relative humidity.
