6. Troubleshooting
If the UPS system does not operate correctly, identify the problem using the table below.
Symptom Possible Cause Remedy
No indication and alarm in the front display
panel even though the mains is normal.
The AC input power is not connected
correctly or securely.
Check to make sure input cable is firmly
connected to the mains.
The
icon and the warning code flash
on LCD display. The alarm beeps every
second.
EPO function is activated. At this time, the
EPO switch is set to “OFF” or the jumper is
open.
Set the circuit in closed position to disable
the EPO function.
The
icon and flash on the LCD
display. The alarm beeps every second.
The external or internal battery is incorrectly
connected.
Check to make sure all batteries are
securely and correctly connected.
The
icon and flash on the LCD
display. The alarm beeps twice every
second.
UPS is overloaded. Remove excess loads from UPS output.
UPS is overloaded. Devices connected to
the UPS are fed directly by the electrical
network via the Bypass.
Remove excess loads from UPS output.
After repetitive overloads, the UPS is locked
in Bypass Mode. Connected devices are fed
directly by the mains.
Remove excess loads from UPS output, then
shut down the UPS and restart.
Fault code is shown as 43. The
icon
displays on the LCD. The alarm beeps
continuously.
UPS is overloaded for too long and becomes
fault. The UPS automatically shuts down.
Remove excess loads from the UPS output
and restart.
Fault code is shown as 14, 15, 16, 17, 18
or 19, the icon displays on the LCD.
The alarm beeps continuously.
The UPS automatically shuts down due to a
short circuit on the UPS output.
Check output wiring and if connected
devices are in short circuit status.
Other fault codes are shown on the LCD.
The alarm beeps continuously.
A UPS internal fault has occurred. Contact your dealer.
Battery backup time is shorter than the
nominal value.
Batteries are not fully charged. Charge the batteries for at least 7 hours,
then check capacity. If the problem still
persists, consult your dealer.
Batteries are defective. Contact your dealer to replace the battery.
The
icon and flash on the LCD. The
alarm beeps every second.
Fan is locked or not working, or the UPS
temperature is too high.
Check fans and notify dealer.
The warning code 02 and the
icon flash
on the LCD. The alarm beeps every second.
The input neutral wire is disconnected. Check and correct the input neutral
connection. If the connection is ok and the
warning still displays, refer to section 4.7.
To enter the neutral loss check menu, first
check that parameter 3 is “CHE”. If it is,
press the “Enter” key to make “CHE” flash,
then press “Enter” again to clear the alarm.
If the warning still exists, check input fuses
of L2 and L3.
The L2 or L3 input fuse is broken. Replace the fuse.
