SAFETY WARNING:
After making a pot of coee, leave the ap-
pliance to cool for 5 minutes before making
another beverage. Risk of overheating!
8.9 Cleaning the coee pot
After each use, you should clean the coee pot (D8) with hot
water and mild washing up liquid.
Rinse thoroughly with hot water to eliminate all detergent
residues.
9. MAKING MILK BEVERAGES U
9.1 Preparing the milk carafes (E and F)
Please note:
To avoid milk with poor froth or large bubbles, always clean the
milk carafes as described in sections “9.6 Cleaning the milk ca-
rafe after use and “15.9 Cleaning the milk carafes (E) and (F)”.
9.2 Which milk to use?
The quality of the froth will vary depending on:
the temperature of the milk or plant-based beverage
(for best results, always use milk or plant-based bever-
ages at refrigerator temperature (-5°C);
type of milk or plant-based beverage;
brand used;
ingredients and nutritional value.

9.3 Filling and attaching the milk carafes
1. Lift the lid (E1) or (F1) (g. 18);

2. Fill the milk carafe (E2) or (F2) with a sucient quantity
of milk, not exceeding the MAX level marked on the carafe
(g. 19);
3. Make sure the milk intake tube (E6) or (F6) is correctly in-
serted on the bottom of the milk carafe lid (g. 20);

4. Put the lid back on the milk carafe;
5. Attach the carafe to the connector (A8) and push as far as it
will go (g. 21). The machine emits a beep (if the function
is enabled);
6. Place a suciently large cup under the coee spouts (A7)
and milk spout (E5) or (F5). Only the milk spout (E5) can be
lengthened by adjusting the extension;
7. Select the beverage you want to make as described in the
following paragraphs.
Please note:
If “Energy Saving mode is enabled (see section “6.9 General”),
you may have to wait a few seconds before the appliance makes
the beverage.
