WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION
To Connect Water Tube to
Household Water Supply
1. Disconnect the
refrigerator
from electrical
power source.
2. Place the end
of water supply
line into a sink
or bucket. Turn
ON the water
supply and
flush the supply
line until the
water is clear.
Turn OFF the
water supply at
the shuto valve.
Place 7/16" wrench
here. Do not turn.
Place 1/2" wrench
here. Turn
clockwise.
6. Replace the connected tubes into the
clips and lock clips back in place to
keep the tubing in the right position.
7. Turn ON water supply at shuto
valve and tighten any connections
that leak.
8. Reconnect the refrigerator to an
electrical power source.
9. Ensure ice maker is turned ON.
10. Purge air from the ice and water
dispenser system by operating the
water dispenser for 3-4 minutes. This
will require dispensing several glasses
of water.
3. Open the locking
clips and grab
the water line
coming from
the refrigerator.
Remove the plastic
cap from water
inlet fitting and
discard the cap.
4. If using
(recommended) stainless steel
braided tubing - the nut and ferrule
are already assembled on the tubing.
Slide the compression nut onto water
inlet fitting and finger tighten.
5. Using ½" and 7/16" wrenches (one
to hold the household water line nut
and the other to hold the water inlet
fitting nut), tighten a half turn with
wrench. DO NOT over tighten.
