You can use the Extras sensor to
augment the wash programmes.
Use the sensor to select or deselect
Extras.
Touch the sensor:
- Once: the Short Extra is selected and
lights up.
- 2times: the Water + Extra is selected
and lights up.
- 3times: the Soak Extra is selected
and lights up.
- 4times: the Short and Water +
Extras are selected and light up.
- 5times: the Water + and Soak Extras
are selected and light up.
- 6times: all the Extras are
deselected.
Short
For light soiling with no visible staining.
The wash duration is reduced.
Water +
The water level in the main wash and
the rinse cycles is increased. A second
rinse cycle is carried out in the Separate
rinse/Starchprogramme.
You can select other functions for the
Water +sensor. These are described
under “Programmable functions”.
Soak
For cleaning heavily soiled and stained
items with protein stains.
- A duration of between 30minutes
and 2hours can be programmed in
30-minute increments for the soak
process.
- The factory default setting is 30
minutes.

Pre-wash
For laundry with large amounts of dirt,
e.g. dust and sand.
