8. Operating Instructions
Important: Before using this product, read and
understand all the safety instructions listed in this
manual. DO NOT make any adjustments to the spray gun
while the trigger is depressed.
8.1 The Air Control Dial
The air pressure can be ne-tuned by adjusting the air
control dial (3) on the spray gun. This is used to make
minor adjustments to the air ow after the required air
pressure has been set by the regulator (Fig. 10).
•  Rotate the dial clockwise.
•  Rotate the dial
anticlockwise.
Important: The air control dial should typically remain in
the fully open position to allow the full ow of air into the
spray gun, but it may be used to make minor adjustments
for specic operations. The dial will click when it has
been wound to its fully open position.
8.2 The Fluid Control Dial
The uid control dial (4) adjusts the amount of paint that
is released into the air ow and the density of the spray
when the trigger is fully depressed (Fig. 11):
• To increase the paint quantity and density:
Rotate the nozzle regulator anticlockwise.
The paint quantity should be increased when the
spray gun is positioned further from the surface or
when the paint mixture has a higher viscosity.
• To decrease the paint quantity and density:
Rotate the nozzle regulator clockwise.
The paint quantity should be decreased when the
spray gun is positioned closer to the surface or
when the paint mixture has a lower viscosity.
