Connection using the Ethernet Weather Seal
1. Run RJ45 connector of the ethernet cable
through compression nut

threaded end of the nut facing the RJ45
connector.
2. Place the rubber seal

on cable with flat edge
facing the RJ45 connector of the ethernet cable.
3. Run RJ45 connector of the ethernet cable
through cable gland body

, with short,
threaded end towards the RJ45 connector.
4. Press the rubber seal into the cable gland body
with the flat edge of the seal towards the cable
gland body.
a. Press one end of the rubber seal into the
cable gland body by hand.
b. Use a flat head screwdriver to press the other
end of the rubber seal into the cable gland
body.
5. Thread the Compression nut onto the cable
gland body, leaving approximately 3 1/8” of
cable exposed.
6. Punch out Ethernet port on DCT100.
7. Run the RJ-45 connector and the short,
threaded end of cable gland body through the
ethernet port.
8. Thread the check nut onto the cable gland
body to secure the Ethernet Weather Seal.
9. Connect the RJ45 connector of the ethernet
cable to the DCT100 RJ45 port.
