To lubricate the cutting deck
spindles
1. Remove the footrest plate (A).

2. Lubricate the 3 cutting deck spindles (B) 2-3
strokes.
Note: Use a grease gun with a rubber hose
when you lubricate the cutting deck spindles.
3. Lubricate the idler arm (C) 2-3 strokes.
Tightening torques
Engine crankshaft bolt 50 ft-lb / 68 Nm
Mandrel pulley nuts 17 ft-lb / 23 Nm
Idler pulley nuts 30 ft-lb / 40.6 Nm
Idler arm bushing nut 70 ft-lb / 95 Nm
Lug nuts 75 ft-lb / 102 Nm
Blade bolts 90 ft-lb / 122 Nm
Spark plug 16.6 ft-lb / 22.5 Nm
