Requirements
¡ The cooking compartment must have cooled down
completely.
¡ Have a large container with a capacity of at least 2
litres ready.
¡ Have the liquid descaler ready.
¡ Have a connection hose ready.

1.
Remove accessories and cookware from the cook-
ing compartment.
2.
If necessary, detach the shelf supports and remove
them from the cooking compartment.

3.
Add 200 ml liquid descaler to the container.
4.
Place the container in the cooking compartment.
5.
Attach the connecting hose in the cooking compart-
ment on the right-hand side of the socket
⁠.
6.
Position the small tube at the end of the connecting
hose in the container so that all the liquid can be
pumped into the appliance. If required, secure the
small tube onto the container using the clip ⁠.
7.
Close the appliance door.
21.2 Setting the descaling process
ATTENTION!
If descaling solution comes into contact with the control
panel or other delicate surfaces, it will damage them.
Remove descaling solution immediately with water.

Press "Cleaning".
2.
Press "Descaling"

a The duration appears on the display. You cannot
change the duration of the descaling process.
3.
Press to start the descaling process.
a A notification stating that you should carry out the
necessary preparatory work for descaling appears
on the display.
4.
Press "OK" to confirm the notification.
a The descaling process starts. The duration counts
down on the display.
a Once the descaling programme has run through to
the end, an audible signal sounds.
5.
Once the descaling programme has ended, prepare
the appliance for operation.

21.3 Preparing the appliance after descaling
1.
Remove the connecting hose in the cooking com-
partment from the socket.
2.
Remove the container, with the connecting hose,
from the cooking compartment, then empty and
clean it.
3.
Wipe any liquid which has escaped from the cook-
ing compartment floor, then wipe with clean water
and dry with a soft cloth.
4.
Attach the shelf supports as required.

21.4 Descaling interrupted
If descaling is interrupted, you can no longer set any
operation. To ensure that the appliance is ready for op-
eration again, carry out rinsing.
ATTENTION!
If descaling solution comes into contact with the control
panel or other delicate surfaces, it will damage them.
Remove descaling solution immediately with water.

to start the rinse cycle.
