2. Introduction
The SRCOOL3KTP Top-of-Rack Air Conditioning Systems are precision, self-contained, DX air-cooled systems.
These systems do not require piping from indoor to outdoor, nor do they require any special cooling infrastructure (an optional
duct is available to supplement smaller environments). As a result, these dedicated cooling systems’ design enables them to
operate independently of the building’s HVAC/comfort cooling system.
For safety and protection, the cooler includes internal leak detection to prevent condensate from entering the rack below by
turning off the cooling system.
The unit arrives ready for use and does NOT require charging with refrigerant.
Notes:
• These are cooling-only devices with no heating capability.
• For maximum efficiency, the AC unit is intended for use with Tripp Lite SR25UBAC and SR33UBAC racks, but can be used with other racks
as well.
• The AC unit requires at least 2U of open space in the uppermost U spaces for proper air clearance.
• The system design is for edge environments and network closets. It is not designed for harsh or dirty environments.
• For maximum cooling performance, ensure all U spaces without equipment have blanking panels installed.
