5  Familiarising yourself with your appliance
5.1 Controls
You can use the control panel to configure all functions
of your appliance and to obtain information about the
operating status.
Tip:Align the remote control as precisely as possible
to the infrared receiver for the LED display.

6  Before using for the first time
Configure the settings for initial start-up. Clean the ap-
pliance and accessories.
7  Basic operation
7.1 Switching on the appliance
Requirement:Align the remote control as precisely as
possible to the infrared receiver for the LED display.
Press ⁠ to switch on the appliance.
a The appliance starts at fan setting2.
a The LED for fan setting2 lights up in the LED dis-
play.
a The appliance moves to the last saved position.
7.2 Switching off the appliance
Switch the appliance off when you are not using it.
Press ⁠ to switch the appliance off.
a The fan run-on is switched on, LED 6 flashes in the
LED display for the fan run-on.
a The appliance moves into the fan run-on position.
a The fan automatically switches off after approx. 10
minutes.
a The appliance moves up as far as it will go.
7.3 Lift function
The appliance detects the last selected position and
stores this automatically. When the appliance is next
switched on, it moves into this position, provided no
other position is set.
Note:Further settings relating to the position of the ap-
pliance are available in the HomeConnect app.
