Measuring Length
– Press the measuring button (1)to stop the measuring process. The laser
beam is switched off and the current measured value (a) is displayed.
– Press the measuring button (1) again to switch the laser back on and
continue measuring. The current measured value (a) is shown on the
bottom line of the display, while the previous measured value (b) is dis-
played above it.
Area Measurement
– Press the measuring button (1)twice in quick succession to multiply the
last two measurements together (see figure 5). The indicator (f) ap-
pears on the display and the area measurement is shown.
Press the measuring button (1) twice in quick succession again to dis-
play the last two measurements.
If measuring tool remains idle for 5 minutes, the measuring tool with auto-
matically switch itself off to preserve battery life.
u Do not direct the laser beam at persons or animals and do not stare
into the laser beam yourself (even from a distance).
General Advice
The reception lens (7) and the laser beam output (8) must not be covered
during the measuring process.
