Adjustment of Left-side Material Support on
Tool Stand
1. Loosen the nuts on the carriage bolts and
remove the locking bolts on the front and
back sides of the left-side material support.
2. Remove the fence from the table and place
the top side of the fence ush against the
table, overhanging the left-side material sup-
port. The plastic end bracket should sit in the
miter slot so that the aluminum fence con-
tacts the table top.
3. Move the fence as close to the front edge of
the left-side material support as possible.
4. Raise the front of the support until it is in con-
tact with the fence. Note, a rubber mallet may
be required to move the material support.
During adjustment, the material support
should be ush to 0.2 inches (5mm) below
the table surface.
5. Install the locking bolt and tighten the carriage
nut on the front of the support.
6. Move the fence as close to the back edge of
the left-side material support as possible.
7. Raise the back of the support until it is in con-
tact with the fence.
8. Install the locking bolt and tighten the car-
riage nut on the back of the support.
9. Move the fence back to the front of the support
to ensure that it is still ush to the table top.
