You ctm select one of the 6 preset sound modes (3 surround
modes and 3 SEA--Sound Effect Amplifier--modes).
On the remote control:
Press SOUND MODE repeatedly until the SOUND
MODE
sound mode you want appears on the display. (_
• First time you press the button, the current

The S.MODE and SURN. indicators also light up on
the display
Each time you press the button while a sound mode appears
on the display, the sound modes chmlge as follows:

On the unit:
Press up or down the SOUND MODE
control until the sound mode you want
appears on the display.
• First time you press up or down the control,
the current sound mode appears on the display.
Each time you press up or down the control while a sound
mode appears on the display, the sound modes change as
follows:

SEA (Sound Effect Amplifier) modes*l:
ROCK Boosts low trod high frequency. Good for
acoustic music.
POP Good for vocal music.
CLASSIC Good for classical music.
FLAT : Cancels the sound mode.
Surround modes*2:
DANCE : Increases resonance and bass.
HALL : Adds depth and brilliance to the sound.
STADIUM: Adds clarity and spreads the sound, like in an
outdoor stadium.
"" While one of the SEA modes (SEA elements without surround
elements) is selected, the S,MODE indicator lights up.
,2 Surround elements are added to the SEA elements to create
being-there feeling in your room.
When one of these modes is selected, the S.MODE and SURR.
indicators light up.
TurningOnor Offthe Key-touchTone
If you do not wtmt the key-touch tone to beep each time you
press a button or turn a control, you can deactivate it.
• You can turn on or offthe key-touch tone whether the unit
is on or off.
On the remote control:
Press BEEE
• Each time you press the button, the key-touch
tone turns on trod off alternately.
BEEP
The BEEP ON indicator also lights up on the display

seconds.
