System settings
1 Display the <System> screen.
On the source/option selection screen (page 11):
Then, on the <Setup> screen, touch as follows:
[System] (1) [Enter] for the item you adjust or
the appropriate setting for the item (2).

<Language>
Select the text language used for on-screen
information. For details, see page 4.
“Please Ignition Off” appears when the setting is
changed. Turn the ignition switch off then on to
enable the change.
<Clock>
Set the date and clock adjustment method. For details,
see page 5.

<Parking Assist>
Configure settings for using the ADS adapter.
<Parking Assist Display>
When an ADS adapter is connected, you can display
information about obstacles around the car.
ON: Always displays information.
Dyn. (Initial): Displays information when the sensor
detects obstacles.
OFF: Cancels.
<Parking Assist Position>
Select where information about obstacles is displayed
on the screen.
Left/Right (Initial)
<AV Input>
Select the usage of the AV-IN input terminal
(adjustable only in Standby Mode (page 4)).
AV-IN (Initial): Select this when an external AV device
is connected.
To watch the connected device, select [AV-IN] on
the source/option selection screen.
Camera: Select this to watch the view from the
connected camera.
To watch the camera view, select [Camera] on the
source/option selection screen.
<Time Format>
Select the time display format—either [12-Hour]
(Initial) or [24-Hour].
<Time Zone>
Select the time zone for your residential area. For
details, see page 5.
<Clock Adjust>
Adjust the date and clock manually. For details, see
page 5.
<Daylight Saving Time>
(Not used when the clock is set manually)
Activate this by selecting the additional time for
Daylight Saving Time (if available in your residential
area). For details, see page 5.
<Connections SETUP>
Specify or confirm the connected devices information.
<Device List>
Shows the list of the connected (registered) devices.
For details, see page 8.
<PIN Code>
Shows the current PIN code for this unit.
<Device Name>
Shows the device name of this unit—DMX709S or
DMX7709S.
<Bluetooth Device Address>
Shows the Bluetooth device address of this unit.
