Changing the receive mode
You can change HD Radio receive mode.
1 Display the <Radio Mode> screen.
On the source control screen:
2 Select receive mode.
Radio Mode
Receive Mode
Auto
[Auto] Switches the receiving signal
automatically – digital or analog.
[Digital] Select this to tune in to the digital
audio signals.
[Analog] Select this to tune in to the analog
audio signals.
6 [P1] – [P5]
• (Touch) Selects a preset channel.
• (Hold) Presets the current channel.
7 Displays/hides the following operation keys
[PTY] (For FM stations) Enters PTY search
mode.
1 Touch [PTY].
2 Touch and hold a PTY code to
search for.
If there is a station broadcasting a
program of the same PTY code as
you have selected, that station is
tuned in.
[SEEK]
Selects the seek mode for [
S]/
[T].
• AUTO1*: (Initial): Auto search
• AUTO2*: Tunes in preset stations
one after another
• MANU*: Manual search
* This setting also affects the [CH
J/CHK]
operation.
[AME ]
(Hold) Starts auto-memory presetting
of the stations.
[MODE] Displays the <Radio Mode> screen.
[Emergency
Alert]
Activates or deactivates Emergency
Alert.
[Alert
Message
Log]
Displays the received alert message
log.

• Received signal is indicated “DIGITAL” or
“ANALOG”.
