area of the oven;allow sufficient time for coolingfirst.Other
surfacesof the appliance may becomehot enoughto cause
burns.Potentiallyhot surfacesincludethe cooktop,areas facing

crevicesaround the oven door.
Do not heat unopenedfood containers.Pressurecould build up

Cookmeat and poultry thoroughly-meat to at least an internal
temperature of :].60°Fand poultry to at leastan internal
temperature of :].80°F.Cookingto thesetemperaturesusually
protects againstfoodborne illness.

Do not store or useflammable materialsin an oven or near
the cooktop,including paper,plastic,pot holders,linens,wall
coverings,curtains,drapes and gasolineor other flammable
vapors and liquids.
Neverwear loose-fittingor hanginggarments while using
the appliance.Thesegarments may ignite if they contact hot
surfaces,causingsevereburns.
Do not let cooking greaseor other flammable materials
accumulatein or nearthe range.Greaseinthe oven or onthe
cooktop may ignite.
Cleanventilating hoodsfrequently. Greaseshouldnot be allowed
to accumulate onthe hood or filter.

In WARNING 1IN THEEVENTOF A FIRE,TAKETHEFOLLOWINGSTEPS
TO PREVENT THE FIRE FROM SPREADING:
Do not usewater on greasefires. Neverpickup a flaming pan.
Turnthe controls off.Smothera flaming pan on a surface unit by
coveringthe pancompletely with a well-fitting lid,cookiesheet
or flat tray. Usea multi-purposedry chemical orfoam-type fire
extinguisher.
Ifthere isa fire inthe oven during baking,smother the fire by
closingthe oven doorand turning the oven off or by usinga
multi-purposedry chemical orfoam-type fire extinguisher.
Ifthere isa fire inthe oven duringself-clean,turn the oven
off andwait for the fire to go out. Do not force the door open.
Introductionof fresh air at self-cleantemperatures may leadto
a burstof flame from the oven.Failureto follow this instruction
may resultinsevereburns.
