This Limited Warranty creates a warranty period as specifi ed in the aforementioned table, for products purchased through an authorized
Napoleon dealer, and entitles the original purchaser (or gift recipient in the case where a new product is given as a gift) to the specifi ed coverage in
respect of any component replaced within the warranty period, either by Napoleon or an authorized Napoleon dealer, to replace a component of
such product that has failed in normal private use as a result of a manufacturing defect. This warranty does not cover accessories or bonus items.
For greater certainty, “normal private use” of a product means that the product: has been installed (where applicable) by a licensed, authorized
service technician or contractor, in accordance with the installation instructions included with the product and all local and national building and
fi re codes; has been properly cleaned and maintained according the to the instructions; and has not been used as a communal amenity or in
a commercial application. In the case of use in communal or commercial applications (where approved), the warranty is reduced to a period
of two (2) years.
Similarly, “failure” does not include: damage caused by over-fi ring, blow outs caused by environmental conditions such as strong winds or inad-
equate ventilation, scratches, dents, corrosion, deterioration of painted and plated fi nishes, discoloration caused by heat, abrasive or chemical
cleaners or UV exposure, chipping of porcelain enameled parts, or damages caused by misuse, accident, hail, grease fi res, lack of cleaning
and maintenance, hostile environments such as salt or chlorine, alterations, abuse, neglect or parts installed from other manufacturers. If you
live in a coastal area, or have your product located near a pool or hot tub, maintenance includes regular washing and rinsing of the exterior
surfaces as outlined in the accompanying owner’s manual, in order to prevent surface corrosion. Should deterioration of parts occur to the
degree of non-performance (rusted through or burnt through) within the duration of the warranted coverage, a replacement part will be provided.
Parts replaced under this warranty are warranted only for the balance of the period specifi ed in the aforementioned table.
The replacement component is the sole responsibility of Napoleon defi ned by this warranty; in no event will Napoleon be responsible for installa-
tion, labor or any other costs or expenses related to the re-installation of a warranted part, for any incidental, consequential or indirect damages,
or for any handling and transportation charges or export duties.

The use and/or installation of parts on your Napoleon product that are not genuine Napoleon parts will void this warranty, and any damages that
result hereby are not covered by this warranty. Any conversion of a gas grill not authorized by Napoleon and performed by a Napoleon authorized
service technician will void this warranty.
This warranty is provided in addition to any rights afforded to you by local laws. These and other statutory rights remain unaffected by this
warranty provision. Accordingly, this warranty imposes no obligation upon Napoleon to keep parts in stock. Based on the availability of parts,
Napoleon may at its discretion discharge all obligations by providing a customer a prorated credit towards a new product. Napoleon may from
time to time update the design of its products. Nothing contained in this warranty shall be construed as obligating Napoleon to incorporate
such design updates into previously manufactured products, nor shall such updates be construed as an admission that previous designs were
defective.
Registering your Napoleon product confi rms your warranty coverage, will expedite any warranty claims you may need to make, and provides a
link between you and Napoleon in case we ever need to contact you. When making warranty claims, Napoleon representatives may request from
you the bill of sale or copy, together with a serial number and a model number. Napoleon reserves the right to have its representative inspect

materials when installed with zero clearance liner Part No. BI-3323-ZCL, and must be installed and
serviced by a qualied installer to local codes.
WARNING! Cabinet frame, cabinet, and counter top must be made from non-combusble material
when not installed with zero clearance liner Part No. BI-3323-ZCL.
WARNING! As indicated on the rang plate, this gas grill is designed to operate with gas supply
pressures of 11” WC for Propane and 7” WC for Natural Gas. For installaons where the gas supply
pressure exceeds these requirements, a regulator must be installed upstream of the grill’s components.
If the gas supply pressure is lower than these requirements, the unit will be under-red and will not
reach the maximum temperatures. Ensure that the supply line size complies with local and/or naonal
installaon codes.
BUILT IN PROPANE GAS HOOK-UP: The piping up to the gas grill is the responsibility of the installer and

Every opening must be large enough to permit the entrance of a 1/8 in (3.2 mm) rod.
WARNING!
• The cylinder valve(s) must be readily accessible for hand operaon. A door on the enclosure to
gain access to the cylinder valves is acceptable, provided it is non-locking and can be opened
without the use of tools.
• The enclosure for the LP-gas cylinder must isolate the cylinder from the burner compartment to
provide shielding from radiaon, a ame barrier, and protecon from foreign material, such as
hot drippings. The enclosure cannot be located directly below the grill.
• There must be a minimum clearance of 2 in (51 mm) between the oor of the LP-gas cylinder

Electrical Precauons

• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord or plugs in water or other liquid.
• Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before pung on or
taking o parts.
• Do not operate any outdoor cooking gas appliance with a damaged cord, plug, or aer the
appliance malfuncons or has been damaged in any manner. Contact the manufacturer for
repair.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not use an outdoor cooking gas appliance for purposes other than intended.
• When connecng, rst connect plug to the outdoor cooking gas appliance then plug appliance

• Use only a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) protected circuit with this outdoor cooking gas
appliance.

• Use only extension cords with a 3 prong grounding plug, rated for the power of the equipment,
and approved for outdoor use with a W-A marking.
Built in natural gas hook-up
The piping up to the gas grill is the responsibility of the installer and piping should be located as shown
in the built-in instrucons. A exible metal connector is included to simplify the installaon of the unit.
Connect this connector to the are ng on the end of the manifold. Connect the other end of the
connector to the gas piping. Ensure that the connector does not pass through a wall, oor, ceiling or
paron, and is protected from damage. Do not use a hose to connect the unit. It must be connected
with rigid pipe, copper tube or an approved exible metal connector which complies with Z21.4 /CSA
6.10 or ANSI Z21.75/CSA 6.27.
WARNING! Built in units are supplied with a drip pan which holds only a minimal amount of
grease. To prevent grease res, the pan must be cleaned aer each use.

Illuminaon Instrucons
Moon sensor and Knobs and Oven Lights
Turn the Power Switch ON located on the control box.
The control box should be to the le side of the inside of your cabinet, where the grill
head has been mounted on.

A red and a blue LED light will turn on. Illuminaon sengs

Cleaning Instrucons

Geng Started
1. Remove all cart panels, hardware, and grill head from the carton. Raise lid and remove any
components packed inside. Use the parts list to ensure all necessary parts are included.

Assemble the grill where it is to be used, lay down cardboard or a towel to protect parts from being
lost or damaged while assembling.
4. Most stainless steel parts are supplied with a protecve plasc coang that must be removed
prior to using the grill. The protecve coang has been removed from some of the parts during the
manufacturing process and may have le behind a residue that can be perceived as scratches or
blemishes. To remove the residue, vigorously wipe the stainless steel in the same direcon as the
grain.

CAUTION! During unpacking and assembly we recommended you wear work gloves and safety
glasses for your protecon. Although we make every eort to make the assembly process as problem
free and safe as possible, it is characterisc of fabricated steel parts that the edges and corners might
be sharp and could cause cuts if handled incorrectly.
TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY (tools not included)
WARNING! Construcon materials and masonry dust may cause surface damage to units and
accessories. The best opon is to install components aer all construcon has been completed and
the jobsite has been thoroughly cleaned. If the components must be installed prior to the construcon
being completed, then exposed surfaces need to be covered to prevent corrosion. All surfaces must
be cleaned when construcon is completed. Do not use muriac acid to clean masonry materials
from any surfaces. The lime contained in some construcon materials is extremely corrosive. During
its curing period, (1 - 2 months) it is recommended that a stainless steel polish or wax (car wax is
acceptable) be applied to prevent direct contact of the lime materials.

tres fabricants. Si vous vivez en zone côtière, ou que votre produit est situé près d’une piscine ou d’un spa, l’entretien comprend le lavage et le

Instrucons de branchement du gaz
AVERTISSEMENT! Ce gril peut être installé dans un cabinet construit de matériaux
combusbles s’il est installé avec la doublure isolante à dégagement zéro BI-3323-ZCL. Il doit être
installé et entretenu par un installateur qualié selon les codes locaux.
AVERTISSEMENT! La charpente du cabinet, le cabinet et le comptoir doivent être de nature
incombusble si la doublure isolante à dégagement zéro BI-3323-ZCL n’est pas ulisée.
AVERTISSEMENT! Comme il est indiqué sur la plaque d’homologaon, ce gril à gaz est conçu
pour fonconner à des pressions d’alimentaon en gaz de 11 po de colonne d’eau pour le propane et

est supérieure à celles exigées, un régulateur de pression doit être installé en amont des composantes

Chaque ouverture doit être susamment large pour permere d’y introduire une ge de 1/8 po (3,2
mm).
AVERTISSEMENT!
• Les soupapes de réservoir seront facilement accessibles et à portée de la main. Une porte peut être
installée sur l’enceinte pour accéder aux soupapes, pourvu qu’elle ne soit pas verrouillable et que
l’on puisse l’ouvrir sans oul.
• L’enceinte pour le réservoir de propane doit isoler le réservoir du comparment du brûleur de
façon à servir d’écran contre l’irradiaon, de barrière de ammes et de protecon contre les
maères étrangères comme les jus de cuisson chauds. L’enceinte ne peut être située directement
sous le gril.
• Il doit y avoir un dégagement minimum de 2 pouces (51 mm) entre le plancher de l’enceinte du
réservoir et le sol.
• L’enceinte sera conçue de manière à ce que le réservoir de propane puisse être branché, débranché
et que les raccords puissent être inspectés et testés à l’extérieur de l’enceinte. Tous les raccords qui

Détecteur de mouvement:
• Les boutons et le logo resteront allumés tant qu’un mouvement sera détecté
dans un rayon d’un mètre du barbecue. Ils s’éteindront automaquement
après 15 minutes d’inacvité.
• Lorsque le détecteur est sur le mode ON (indiqué par la LED bleue), vous
pouvez allumer et éteindre les lampes du foyer avec l’interrupteur

ATTENTION! Lors du déballage et de l’assemblage, nous vous conseillons de porter des gants
de travail et des lunees de sécurité pour votre protecon. Malgré tous nos eorts pour assurer que
l’assemblage soit aussi sécuritaire et sans problème que possible, il se peut que les bords et les coins
des pièces usinées en acier soient coupants et qu’ils causent des coupures si les pièces ne sont pas
manipulées correctement.
Pour Commencer
1. Rerez tous les panneaux, le matériel et le gril du carton d’emballage. Soulevez le couvercle et
enlevez les composants qui se trouvent à l’intérieur. Servez-vous de la liste de pièces pour vous
assurer que toutes les pièces nécessaires sont incluses.

4. La plupart des pièces en acier inoxydable possèdent un revêtement de plasque protecteur qui
doit être enlevé avant d’uliser le gril. Le revêtement de protecon a déjà été reré de certaines
pièces lors du processus de fabricaon, ce qui a pu laisser un résidu pouvant être perçu comme des
égragnures ou des marques. Pour enlever ce résidu, froez l’acier inoxydable vigoureusement dans
le sens du grain.

Si vous avez des quesons à propos de l’assemblage ou du fonconnement du gril, ou si des pièces sont
manquantes ou endommagées, veuillez appeler notre département du Service aux Consommateurs au
1-866-820-8686 entre 9 h et 17 h (heure normale de l’Est).
OUTILS REQUIS POUR L’ASSEMBLAGE (ouls non inclus)
AVERTISSEMENT! La poussière des matériaux de construcon et de maçonnerie peut
endommager la surface des unités et des accessoires. Ainsi, il est préférable de procéder à l’installaon
des composants une fois la construcon achevée et le chaner soigneusement neoyé. Si les
composants doivent être installés avant la n des travaux, couvrez les surfaces exposées an de
prévenir la corrosion. Toutes les surfaces doivent être neoyées une fois la construcon terminée.
N’ulisez pas d’acide chlorhydrique pour neoyer les matériaux de maçonnerie sur toute surface.
La chaux contenue dans certains matériaux de construcon est extrêmement corrosive. Pendant sa
période de durcissement (1 à 2 mois), il est recommandé d’appliquer un vernis ou une cire (une cire
automobile convient) pour l’acier inoxydable an d’éviter le contact direct avec les matériaux de chaux.

DEUX FOIS POUR VOUS ARRÊTER SUR LA COULEUR CHOISIE
• PRESSEZ
DEUX FOIS À NOUVEAU POUR CONTINUER À CHANGER LES COULEURS
LOGO LUMIÈRE ALLUMÉE/ÉTEINTE
• À TOUT MOMENT, DOUBLE-CLIQUEZ SUR LE BOUTON POUR ÉTEINDRE LA LUMIÈRE DU LOGO.
DOUBLE-CLIQUEZ À NOUVEAU POUR LE RALLUMER.
• SI L’INTERRUPTEUR EST ÉTEINT PUIS RALLUMÉ, LA LUMIÈRE DU LOGO REVIENDRA AU MODE PAR
