Before using for the first time

Activating AutoDos
The display changes to the settings
screen for AutoDos (see the “Detergent”
chapter, “Automatic dispensing/Auto-
Dos” section).
Even if you do not wish to use Auto-
Dos, you must remove the transport
locking device from the PowerDisk
compartment before running the first
programme (see the “Detergent”
chapter, “AutoDos” section).
You can activate AutoDos.
If you do not wish to use AutoDos
(automatic dispensing), you can manu-
ally dispense the detergent into the de-
tergent compartment (see the “Deter-
gent” chapter, “Manual detergent dis-
pensing” section).
Select the setting you want and con-
firm with OK.
This setting applies to all programmes
and you can change it at any time using
the AutoDossensor control.
Finally, prompts will appear in the dis-
play.
After confirming these prompts with
OK, the messagesRefill salt and
Refill rinse aid may appear.
Add salt and rinse aid if necessary
(see the “Before using for the first
time” chapter, “Dishwasher salt” and
“Rinse aid” sections).
Select OK to confirm the messages.
The programme selected will appear
briefly in the display and the appropri-
ate sensor control will be illuminated.
Next, the estimated energy and water
consumption may be shown for the
chosen programme for several
seconds.
Then the display will show the estim-
ated duration for the programme selec-
ted.
You can now turn on the Hygiene
cycle function (see the “Settings”
chapter, “Hygiene cycle” section).
