REVERSING THE DOOR SWING
IMPORTANT NOTES
When reversing the door swing:
• Read the instluctions all the way through beii_re
starting.
• Handle parts carefllllv to avoid scratching paint.
• Set screws down bv their related parts to avoid using
them in the wrong places,
• Provide a non-scratching work surface fin.

IMPORTANT: Once wm begin, do not move the
cabinet until doo>swing reversal is completed.
These inst_ uctions are fin" changing the hinges fi'om
the right side to the left side--if wm ever want to
change the hinges back to the right side, follow these
same instructions and revei_e all references to left and
right.
• Once door swing is finalized, ensure the logo badge
is properly aligned and permanently secured to the
door by removing the adhesive cover on the back
side. NOTE: If necessary call Customer Service fin,
a replacement badge.
Unplug the refrigerator from its electrical outlet.
Empty all door shelves, including the dairy
compaxtment.
TOOLS YOU WILL NEED
Adjustable Wrench 3/8" and 10 mm Socket
Ratchet/Driver
Masking Tape
Phillips Screwdriver
Putty Knife or
Thin-blade Screwdriver
[] REMOVE THE FREEZER DOOR
[] Tape the door shut with masking tape.
[] Remove the hinge cover on top of the fl'eezer door
(on some models).
[] Remove the three Phillips screws, then lilt the hinge
straight up to ti'ee the hinge pin ti'om the socket in
the top _ff the dooI: Ensure that the door thimble
remains on the hinge pin or inside door hinge
pin hole located in the top of the door.

[] Remove the tape and tilt the door awa_ from the
refrigerator., I,ilt it off the center hinoe_ pin.
Set the door on a non-scratching surface with the
inside up.
[] TRANSFER TOP HINGE TO
THE LEFT
Interchange hinge and screws at top right with screws
at the top left of the refiigeratoi: On some models,
screw caps must be removed with a putt}' knife or a
thin-blade screwdriver before removing screws. Mign
the holes in the top of the refrigerator with three of
the holes in the hinge.
Do not tighten screws on hinge side at this time.
