WATER SUPPLY TO THE ICEMAKER
(ON SOME MODELS)
If the refrigerator has an icemaker, it will have to
be connected to a cold water lille. AGE water supply
kit (containing tubing, shutoff wdve, fittings and
instructions) is available at extra cost froln vom"
dealer or by visiting our Website at ge.com or
Parts and Accessories, 800.626.2002.
REFRIGERATOR LOCATION
• Do not install the refl'igerator where the temperature
will go below 60°F (16°C) because it will not iun often
enough to maintain proper temperatures.
• Do not install the refl'igerator where the telnperature
will go above 100°F (37°C) beca use it will not peltimn
properly.
• Install it on a floor strong enough to support it flfllv
loaded.
CLEARANCES
Allow the fi_lloxfing clearances fin" ease of installation,
proper air circulation and plmnbing and electrical
connections.
• Sides 1/8" (3 ram)
• Top 1" (25 ram)
• Back 1" (25 ram)
If the reti_igerator is to be installed next to a wall on the
hinge side, allow 5/16" (8 ram) door clearance.
LEVELING LEGS
The leveling legs have 2 purposes:
• I,eveling legs a(!iust so the door closes easily when
opened about 45 °.
• i,eveling legs a(!iust so the reti-igerator is firefly
positioned on the floor and does not wobble.
• Rollei_ allow you to move the refl{gerator away fl'om the
wall ti)I" cleaning.
NOTE: _4]_en leveling legs are properly a_-!iusmd, the top
ot the refi_igerator will not be level but will have a slight
ba ckwa rd tilt.

Check door alignment and
