stay on even after the unit is turned off.
stay on until the unit is cooled to approximately 150°F.
Coil Cooktops
Each coil surface unit uses "SENSI-TEMP TECHNOLOGY" to
reduce the risk of cooktop oil and grease fires. This feature
is located in the center of each surface unit. Power to the
surface unit is temporarily interrupted when a pot or pan
exceeds expected cooking temperatures. Even after the
surface units are turned off, the surface unit retains enough
heat to continue cooking. To avoid overcooking, remove pans
from the surface units when the food is cooked. Avoid placing
anything on the surface unit until it has cooled completely.
