Compatibility error with map data and navigation
system
Update the map data using a USB memory device. (→P.206)
Then, perform the following procedure:
Turn the ignition switch to the “LOCK”/“OFF” position → Open the
driver’s side door → Close the door → Wait for 3 minutes or more →
Start the engine.
If the update cannot be completed successfully, contact your
SUBARU dealer.

Connection Error
Wi-Fi/Hotspot internet connection not available or
internet not reachable.
1) Check the Wi-Fi network signal. (→P.43) If possible, move the
vehicle to an area where the signal is better and communication is
possible.
2) Attempt the update again. (→P.205)
3) If the update cannot be performed, perform the following:
Turn the ignition switch to the “LOCK”/“OFF” position → Open the
driver’s side door → Close the door → Wait for 3 minutes or more →
Start the engine.
4) Attempt the update again. (→P.205)
5) If the update cannot be performed, update the map data via USB
memory. (→P.206)
6) Repeat “STEP 3”.
7) If the update cannot be completed successfully, contact your
SUBARU dealer.
